I would have...

using four sticks will tank your system performance. 2x32 is the way to go if you want 64. i just did 64gigs of the crucial. the 5200 64BG of the corsair is not bad, but the sales tax in my state is so high it wouldn't be cost effective for me, so i just stuck with the crucial 64gb (2x32 kit)...

I would bet that MS has tried to buy Sega, even though Sega was originally an American company, I doubt they would ever sell to Microsoft.

    Microsoft to buy Activision Blizzard

they are paying a 45% premium over the share price, that's why the CEO is not going anywhere. that's a lot of profit for shareholders.

    Newegg FTL DDR5

the difference is minimal. If you have the disposable income, sure go for it. Price/performance wise it's terrible. it's literally like paying twice as much for the GT model of a car, and all the GT model does is let you drive 1 MPH faster.

    Why is Microcenter scalping people.

I don't think all EVGA are made in china. the MSRP for 3090's didn't change after Trump initiated the Tariffs.. and yea it isn't microcenter, its the AIB who have gone ham. MSI being one of the worst offenders.
  21. S

    Why is Microcenter scalping people.

exactly, and its the one of best models they have , they have cheaper ones, but I wanted the FTW3 ultra one. look at how much the MSI ones cost. it was also far cheaper than any 3090 you can ever get on the newegg shuffle. it's a 3090, i knew that going in.

    Why is Microcenter scalping people.

I know no one wants to hear this, and I hate it also, but this is how supply and demand is supposed to work. certain things like staple goods, are artificially controlled (which is for the best as a whole imo, I'm sure farmers et al would disagree). also the china tariffs

sigh, a 3080 for a $1000. the whole appeal of 3000 series was finally a performance upgrade at a reasonable price.

    Best PCIe 4.0 NVME Drive?

that review basically said what i just said, WD850 is as close as you can get to an optane drive. The OP criteria does not include price. of all the options listed, without price being a consideration, which was not requested, the easy answer is the WD850. If the op wants us to consider price...

    Radeon 6000 series: Disappointing Pricing??

    Radeon 6000 series: Disappointing Pricing??

I'm going to guess that these Ti models will be made on TSMC 7nm process. I also wouldn't put it past Nvidia to release a 7nm version of the 3900 and call it a titan. lol

    Radeon 6000 series: Disappointing Pricing??

Nvidia telling retailers to stop selling to miners.

    1. because they want predictability . 2. they would rather have gamers as customers over miners. AMD serves as a cautionary tale of...
