Hi.
Did you consider these:
LG 31MU97 (no HDMI 2.0 support and limited ergonomics +- 1200 euro)
HP DreamColor Z32X (+- 1800 euro)
I don't recommend the DEL UP3216Q. I am in the process of trying the replacement. Both units have a pink tint from center to right of the panel. This is on every...
My first unit was REV A01 manufactured January 2016. Second unit REV A00 manufactured November 2015. I am using this REV A00 now. I just tested this one while resuming from hibernate in Windows 7 and Fedora 23 operating systems. I have no issues whatsoever!
Did you try other computer? Did you...
I would try the same monitor on different graphics card. If the issues persist than I would contact DELL again and ask for a later revision. I cannot reproduce this on my REV A01 with Intel HD 4600 graphics card through display port. But I am using 8 bits color instead of 10 bits color if that...
If you are referring to the grainy film that sits on top of the display. Its obviously there. You can only notice it on white backgrounds. I don't like that either. I have an old ASUS PA246Q and I hate it's antiglare film. But on latest DELL monitors that I have put my eyes on the antiglare is...
I don't notice any flickering with this monitor. Neither does my phone camera. I don't think it uses PWM. There are no defective pixels as far as I can see. Motion is very fluid. Picture quality is fantastic. I measured around 900:1 contrast ratio, which I find acceptable. However I notice a...

I received my DELL UP3216Q today. Its REV A01 manufactured January 2016 in China. Firmware version M2T102. I didn't notice any problems while resuming the monitor from sleep mode yet! BTW I am using Intel integrated graphics.
One issue I noticed it's the banding issue mentioned on my...

Looks like I am canceling my UP3216Q order!
Thanks a lot cyana.
Does your UP3216Q has problems waking up from sleep? Some users report this issue. When it enters sleep mode, people have to power it down and up again, or remove and reattach the cable. I have had this issue with previous DELL monitors I owned. But it was not too frequent...
Hi cyana
The antiglare is a grainy film that sits on top of the display.
IPS is one of the technologies used on displays nowadays. IPS panel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia UP3216Q has an IPS panel.
To check for backlight bleed run this
in full screen and pause at any time. You must run...
Hi idont.
I don't yet have this monitor but have it on order due to arrive in one or two weeks. I decided over the UP3216Q after returning two UP2716D that suffered from heavy backlight bleed.
cyana do you notice any backlight bleed on yours? How noticeable is the IPS glow?
Thanks.
I have ordered the BDM3275UP. However it has one bright pixel and a dark spot. There is also a vertical stripe of shadow in the middle of the display. Its is more visible on a white background. Does anyone with the same monitor notice this vertical stripe?
I found 2 bright pixels on my BDM3270QP after receiving it. I also found two more dark spots which are either malfunctioning pixels or dirt trapped between. I ended up returning the monitor.
I am also considering getting a UP3216Q. However there is not much information available on this monitor. No reviews yet. Does it use PWM for brightness control? Personally I would not buy if it does.
