Would the power savings even come close to the extra $160.00 in cost between the two?
Just undervolt the 14900K for similar performance and save money at the same time.
Yeah, there seems to be a lot of cash wasted on that build that's not adding to performance or features.
$190.00 for a B650 motherboard is crazy. If you want to spend that kind of money you're better off getting an X670 for $209.99, or save money and get a cheaper B650 board for around...
I was using this EVGA GTX 1070 as a back-up GPU, but I've since upgraded and no longer need it.
Only used for gaming. Kept clean in a smoke-free house. Paypal and U.S. lower 48 states only please.

PNY seems to have higher brand reputation than Zotac. My previous card was a Zotac 3090 and it ran stupidly hot.
Fortunately, their RMA service is very good, but I would go with almost any other brand if paying big money on a GPU.
I figure finding any RTX 4090 these days at the original MSRP is a pretty good deal.
Best Buy has the PNY RTX 4090 currently in stock at $1,599.99. Not sure if there will be any good deals on Black Friday, but for now MSRP is MSRP.
If this is for a 4070 why do they still have the incorrect 4070Ti information and screen images still up? Seems like an intentional bait-and-switch. :bored:
This has to be one of the best deal going for a top of the line CPU.
Newegg has the Ryzen 7 7800X3D discounted for $369.99 - $10.00 instant rebate (UBTSCVA66) = $359.99!
That's even $60.00 cheaper than Microcenter.
The AMD bundle is the better value since you won't have to buy a new motherboard for the next few years. Intel LGA 1700 doesn't have much of an upgrade path.
I'm selling a Zotac Gaming RTX 3090 since I've recently upgraded to a 4090. Kept in good condition in a smoke free environment.

I'm looking to buy an RTX 3060 Ti FE, in good condition and preferably not mined with. Must include the 12-pin power adapter cable.
Looking for $275.00 shipped to Virginia.

Reports are the MSRP may be $799 for the 4070 Ti. Still too expensive, but at least that will put downwards pressure on all the other 4xxx series cards below it.
If they're giving you an actual code after waiting in line, they should give you at least 3 minutes to make the purchase before removing it from your cart. That sucks.
If the $899.99 MSRP is true, then used 3090's are going to be cheaper with 2x the VRAM and 2x the memory bandwidth (for games that like memory bandwidth).
I don't know why anyone would buy a 4070 Ti unless the MSRP is closer to $599.99.
The 5800x3d has the edge in 1080p gaming. But if you're playing at higher resolutions the 5950X is the wiser choice, if you can find one for ~$350.00.
Of course, there's also the "fun factor" to consider. You've already had a 5950X. Maybe having something new and fun to play with would be...
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. The problem is there still isn't the "perfect" 32 inch 4K, 144Hz HDR display out there with enough local dimming zones to suit my desires.
OLED still worries me for burn-in, since I do a lot of desktop usage on my PC, not just gaming. I don't mind spending...
At this point, it's better to just buy one generation behind, instead of giving in to scaplers.
You can get a 3090 or 3080Ti at decent price points, and still have a beastly card. Or wait a year for and pick up a 4090 at more reasonable prices.
