I have this exact same question. I'm looking for the cheapest decent quality mobo that'll run the 7600k without neutering it. I'm not aware of any of the skylake specific 100 series motherboards comiing with an updated BIOS with a 100% certainty.

I'd be more inclined to upgrade to a 1070 for ~$40 more. Otherwise, the 8GB and Freesync support would lead me to buy a 480.
