    Help picking up gtx 1070

What sort of practical difference will I notice with the MSI cooler? I'm somewhat afraid of trading the coolers, which may not make a big difference, for a bad warranty process later.

    Help picking up gtx 1070

Hey guys! I need some quick help picking up my 1070. I've been with a 7970 for almost 4 years so time to upgrade. I've narrowed it down to evga founders edition, ASUS STRIX or MSI Gaming X. Heard that EVGA has the best warranty and support ever, while ASUS and MSI is basically a tie...

Raw Read Error Rate with 4tb external seagate drive

Hey guys! Just noticed this field Raw Read Error Rate has been increasing like nuts in my external hdd. I'm using HD Sentinel. Take a look: What does this mean? Can I trust this drive or should I replace it? The weirdest part is that it shows no SMART alerts at all. Says "OK". Any thoughts?

Help me pick up a good monitor

Sorry, thought it was pretty clear. I have $400 total budget and that's why I could only afford two 1080p monitors if they were cheap. Otherwise I go with a good 1080p or good 1440p one. Please, go on with your suggestions. I don't mind having one 1080p if it's really worth it. edit: From...

Help me pick up a good monitor

Hey guys. I've been wanting to replace my 2 old but excellent CCLF w2353v LG panels for something more up to date. I tried a VA panel already which I liked very much because there was no bleed and no glow, however they had issues with clouding so I had to return them. Now that I have more...

Clouding/Banding on brand-new VA BenQ monitor?

Guys, do you think messing up with profiles or even calibrating could affect the outcome of these dark marks? Or maybe I should try a replacement for both straight away? I've updated the photos by the way. Should be easier to see now.

Clouding/Banding on brand-new VA BenQ monitor?

Well by banding you mean only the vertical stripe? Or the small dark blob could be considered as banding as well? I'm just sooooo unlucky when it comes new tech. Man... That's why I thought it MIGHT be a normal VA panel stuff, because what were the chances of both having the same sort of issue...

Clouding/Banding on brand-new VA BenQ monitor?

Hmm alright, I'll wait a couple more days. I have only 7 days for hassle-free exchanges and returns though... I haven't calibrated them yet but I never thought calibration would affect that sort of thing. Will give it a try for sure!

Clouding/Banding on brand-new VA BenQ monitor?

So I shouldnt be trying to get one without any of these dark marks? Should I live with it? Though if it's not something expected and is really a defect, should a warranty claim make sure I get a perfect one? I didnt knowAUO was the maker of the BL2410PT's panel nor that it had an AMVA panel...

Clouding/Banding on brand-new VA BenQ monitor?

Hello guys! I have a saddening issue with my 2 brand-new BenQ BL2410PT monitors. These are VA panels by the way. So I noticed these weird patches of darker color, especially when I open up Photoshop, which has a very consistent gray background. Here is the 1st monitor: And here for the...
