Thank you for sharing this. I had the same issue, that fan screw also scoffed the IHS of the Gsync module Altera FPGA. Fix is pretty easy, hardest part was carefully removing the cover without leaving marks. Fan is now inaudible, used to ramp up 100% after just turning monitor on. I also...
