Any thoughts on this card? Some reviews for the G1 say it has coil whine, and I'm wondering if that's also an issue with this Gigabyte card. I don't know if I should go for it since it's $650 or hold out for the MSI Gaming 6G, which will likely be $40 more.

I'm wondering which would be a better buy.

I plan on hooking up my 970s to a TV's hdmi 2.0 port. Will a standard 10.2gbps high speed cable suffice, or do you need an 18gbps cable? Also, what brand would you recommend for a 6' cable?
