Anyone know how much these screens weigh? Would like to buy a couple of them and mount them to the arms I already have, if possible. I already have a 40" Seiki Pro which, surprisingly, worked with the arms I already had. The arms are supposed to max out at 19lbs, but the Seiki is 25lbs.
New dilemma. Do I use another ~$1000 and upgrade my base components (cpu, mobo, ram), or do I just buy another Titan X for SLI? Current system is based around an OCd 3770k @ 4.2ghz, and I'm leaning toward grabbing another Titan X, because I think $1000 spent there will yield a lot more...
Really loving this monitor! It's much easier on the eyes than 4k at 28". Does anyone have a recommendation for a good height adjustable stand for this thing?
Getting ready to order a Titan X and also have a 780ti. Was thinking of doing what you're doing with the 780ti as a physx card. Have you run any tests to see what, if any, kind of advantage that configuration gives? Just curious.
After a lot of back and forth, I ended up pulling the trigger on a Seiki 40" 4k instead of this. What it came down to were the sort of things I expect from something I will use as a computer monitor. And in this case that just means DP 1.2 and USB.
I think you can pretty much count on the price on these not falling until there something comparable in the space going for less. They clearly don't see the Philips as competition, and I do think they've got Philips beat on design for use as a computer monitor.
The Samsung, priced the same, is...
Yeah, I'm getting 1 and will test with the single 980 I have. After that, I've got a few options. Now I'm thinking that a PLP setup with a couple 1440p monitors might be better (especially on the wallet). I really don't care for multi-monitor gaming, but would at least want 2xSLI 980s to get...
Yeah, I get it. I'd like more than one display, even if I get a 40" 4k screen, and I'm trying to figure out how to make that work, because one way or another, I'm gonna need a bigger desk. Also, there's something that seems strange about a dual 40" setup, so I almost feel like if I go multi...
I think my Samsung 28" 4k display is too small. In terms of comparing it to a multi-monitor setup, imagine your workspace being made of 4 15" 1080p displays. Sure, you CAN make that work, but it just isn't that comfortable. It does look nice with display scaling on, but then you're losing the...
I need to have a lot of data on screen for work (real estate appraising). 40" 4k seems like a sweet spot. I curious, has anyone been comfortably using 4k 60hz 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 in a productivity environment? I'm getting impatient and have been thinking of pulling the trigger on a couple of those...
