    r9 290 trifire issues

So I got an r9 290x for cheap and before adding it to my gf's computer I wanted to try some trifire benchmarks But it seems to stay at 0% load all the time, fans running and temps are showing though. What could be the cause of this? My other cards are different brand and they are r9 290...

390 the better card for longevity over 970?

The gimped memory is already an issue in games like Assassin's Creed and even Shadows of Mordor with the high res textures. I can't believe people are even considering buying that gimped card from a company with blatantly deceptive tactics like this.

Fury X is now just as fast as GTX 980Ti in 1080p/1440p and faster in 4K

Fury x does not run hotter, silly nvidiot.

Crossfire scaling for the Fury X is over 100% (Firestrike) with voltage unlocked + OC

Kinda makes no sense to say that, it's still king as a single card, It wasn't king if you compared it to SLI 980ti or crossfire fury anyway, no?

    r9 290 trifire experiences?

I've had two r9 290s for a while, XFX DD ones. They run at about 80c or so on load, vrms don't get too hot unlike some people here experienced (the key is good airflow from the front that isn't blocked by hard drives, or a nice side fan). I was wondering how much worse it will be if I shove a...

390X or 980 for the long run?

I like how I'm trolling by posting benchmarks from recent games where 980 underperforms compared to the 290x and even 390, but this shit above isn't trolling. Straight out of tumblr. Btw, the point about the power consumption thing is that it's insignificant amounts on your power bill compared...

Any reason to get a fury x over a 980 ti for 1440p?

Fury x unless you're planning to get multiple cards. 980ti is going to be laughing stock just like the 780ti is now.

390X or 980 for the long run?

This has never been an issue my entire life building gaming pc's until Nvidia noticed their cards consume less power this generation. Now it's a fact spouted by every moron like it matters. The difference in the end is like 50w more. Do you know how much wattage a basic space heater takes? 2000w...

390X or 980 for the long run?

Compare 290x and 780ti performance nowadays. 780ti was released 200$ more than 290x. Anyone who's telling you get a 980 is deliberately giving you false information.

No surprise here, XFX 290 DD VRM temps over 100c at stock volts

Is it possible to add your own heatsinks to solve the vrm issue? I ordered this card and now i'm worried
