    First reviews are starting to appear for it. Unfortunately it uses the same pwm backlight as philips. It was first advertised as flicker-free on the iiyama site, but they have now removed the text. forums.overclockers.co.uk has a longer thread about it.

    I took the ruler out to check the distance of which I see the text clearly without glasses and it is indeed about 30cm. My presrciption is -2.5 in left and -2.0 in right. Like a lot of people I have been spoiled by "retina" screens like on ipad etc, the crisp fonts, and can't stand the low...

    Forget the anti-glare coating debates, your glasses produce more distortion than anything else between your eyes and the pixel. None of the glasses let through 100% of the light and they also have various of degrees of distortions depending on your prescription and quality of the lenses...
