Corsair 45WQHD240 ultrawide 45” 1440p 240Hz OLED with LG panel

Is this monitor able to do 3440 x 1440 resolution at 240hz with 10bit(HDR), 4:4:4 Chroma over HDMI 2.1 without using DSC? If my guess is correct the required bandwidth for that is close: 41.5 of max 42 Gbit/s. Maybe the overhead would throw it out of range.

    ASUS PG279Q 144hz 1440P IPS G-Sync

Yes, of course I meant color temperature. I fixed it. None of the websites had it in stock in my country, I made a special order and they ordered it from a higher layer distributor. The wait was not that bad thou, only waited for it about a week. This is in Europe and I paid 842 EUR for it - ouch.

    ASUS PG279Q 144hz 1440P IPS G-Sync

I bought a PG279Q a week ago, here is my experience with it so far: No dead pixels, no dust, no uniformity issues. Default factory calibration had too cool color temperature, around 7200. The brightness is insanely high, and the default brightness of 80 is simply blinding. Spyder sensor...

    ASUS PG279Q 144hz 1440P IPS G-Sync

You can hardly call that a review. More like a quick summary/overview. I'm looking forward to the TFTCentral review.

    Surface Hub - 4K@120Hz ???

Even at 20000$, I think its still only a typo. Or they blindly copy pasted the TV panel specs, where its usual to lie about the vertical frecquency. Or they take 60hz input and motion interpolate the heck of it to 120hz - which would be disgusting for PC input. Anyway, no true 120hz input at...

Buying a new TV is driving me nuts. Help me decide and help with Refresh rates.

Stay a while and listen ... You are not alone. So are most of customers. Yet. There is a simple one step process: watch 1080p content. THE END. Another simple way to explain big TVs: they "shrink" as the time passes. No matter how big TV you get, after a few years you WILL think its small. To...

    OLED Computer Monitors?

This thread is a mess, I read all pages and there is no info at all. Pretty much the entire thread is a troll fight between JeffDC and Hurin. They need to get a room. Even after JeffDC was banned/gone, Hurin is still pushing , re-quoting and still instigating for a fight, after every each post...

Acer Predator XR341CK 34" 144Hz Curved Gaming Screen with G-sync

Indeed QA can make or break this monitor. This is Acer's chance to climb into the big league and forge itself an exquisite brand name - now they are mostly known for cheap products. Better release later and at higher price than release a faulty product - we are talking about high level...

Acer Predator XR341CK 34" 144Hz Curved Gaming Screen with G-sync

Similar to what elvn said , I want to point out that the tftcentral review of Acer xb270hu may hint at the sort of panel we are looking for the 34 inch curved model. Yes, ULMB strobbing will be weak, at 80-100hz. IPS will never be as fast as TN. Both IPS(specifically in this case AHVA) and TN...

    2015 LG 4k OLED tvs

Yeah Sweden used to have one of the highest and cheapest 100 Mbps. But times change. Now in Romania you can get 1 Gbps for 12 EUR from 3 providers in the same place. Gigabit is so ubiquitous I wanna go for dual WAN at home for 2 Gbps.

    Philips BDM4065UC - 40" 4K 60Hz monitor thread

I apologize guys, I really like this forum and thread, but someone had to say this eventually: Wirk, are you able to contribute with anything else to this thread besides your concerns about bad ergonomics of big height displays? It was fun the first million times you mentioned it. We got it...
