Good news - got my screen back and it's fully repaired! Apparently a faulty mainboard, but they also replaced the OLED screen too, which surprised me as I thought it was fine. Feels as good as new (but had to turn off ASBL again, so annoying lol)

Well, I sent my screen back for repair, and I'm desperately missing it! 4K is great, but 120Hz and OLED is a huge upgrade. Back on a Dell 23" IPS 1440p 60hz and it feels... bad. Once you go big OLED, you can't go back lol....

Yeah, it's important to have a retrospective view on things. I bought shortly after launch, and this monitor stands the test of time - it's improved via firmware updates, is a much better PC experience when you disable ASBL ( ;) ) and when paired with a 30xx series or latest AMD, it's spellbinding.

Nice, hope you enjoy it disabled. I don't like wasting money and plastic/resources on cheap components either, but for the sake of using this beautiful screen without annoying auto-dimming I had to do it, as it was driving me crazy.

Does anyone know how to ensure "screen shift" is kept off? It needs to be kept off to keep text sharp. I reset my TV a couple of days ago, and since then every time it restarts it shows "screen shift" as off, but text is blurry. So I need to keep going into the menu to turn it on & off again.

I did it myself, I am quite big (6 foot 2) but not that strong. I handled it fairly well, if you're smaller you might want to consider 2 people.

If you really want to show off what this screen can do, Detroit: Become Human. It's simply staggering in quality. I also think it performs amazingly well at 4K on cards, I played on a single 1080 (non-TI) and it was smooth and beautiful.

It's true, it's not the same quality-wise, but I do keep a 27" on the side on portrait (it fits perfectly, width-to-height wise) and I like having somewhere to keep emails/web/video/music players etc. so I can flip windows from one screen away from games etc.

It works fine for work & document editing/browsing. I am using non-HDR mode, game picture mode, 120Hz, and using Powertoys FancyZones to layout documents. Very clear text. I can't recommend Powertoys enough, if you use a large screen. Makes window layouts so easy and quick.

I've been playing Detroit: Become Human on this screen today. 4K resolution on a 1080 card and it's very smooth and looks absolutely fantastic! Definitely one of the best optimised games on PC right now.
