SENTRY 2.0: Evolution of console-sized gaming PC case

He is using additional fans for the GPU and of course https://noctua.at/de/na-fd1 And any kind of fan duct improves temperatures way to much. But this bracket is another thing that should be available on purchase...

SENTRY 2.0: Evolution of console-sized gaming PC case

JGP Your problem seems to be the hot air that gets recycled inside the case. A costum fan duct with weatherstripping like Ej24 suggested should be the easiest solution. Or is there enough space between the heatsink and case to fit two 92*14mm slim fans? with their orientation changed to pull...

According to this shops leaked info, it will go up to 125W with unquestionable compability. We need some reviews I guess. But nonetheless, the Noctua cooler seems to...

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

Did Alpenföhn change the design so much? I thought the original design had compability included as a factor. Has someone started a google spreadsheet for compabilty issues? I'm currently doing fine with my A4 and one of the Asetek coolers, but the Black Ridge would help in getting rid of the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

You just have to get rid of the stock fans of the Accelero III and mount two 120mm fans at the bottom. It will fit with about 2-3mm space left. The same applies for the Accelero II. Of course the lenght of the cooler could be a problem. I only had an Accelero II installed that way, but on the...

SENTRY 2.0: Evolution of console-sized gaming PC case

Almost cannot wait for the finished product. But I have a question regarding CPU-Cooling. According to your website the Sentry will support coolers up to 47mm (Intel Stock cooler). What is the absolute maximum cooler height? I mean the height so the cooler barely touches the cover. I'm asking...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Just startet Prime95 again. After 10 minutes i get these temps. 4Ghz on all cores with the fan at 9V. As you can see the core difference is up to 12°. I guess the temps will drop 3°-5° with the fan at 12V but I won`t test that, as I would have to open the case and remove the adapter. As far as I...

@Chris4SFX CPU - Intel Core i5 4690K Board - Asus Z97I-Plus RAM: G.Skill (Removed the heatspreader) GPU - Asus GTX 1060 Turbo Board, CPU and RAM will be changed in the next weeks. Got the fever again after receiving the A4 ^^. The fan is actually a PSU fan from Corsair or a good imitation I...

CPU: Intel i5 4690K @ 4.00Ghz / Standard VCore: Idle: 32°C / Load: 60°C (Video encoding), 74°C (Prime95 Small FFT) (Hottest Core) GPU: GTX970 @ 1278Mhz / Standard Vcore: Idle: 30°C / Load: 65°C (Far Cry 4 / Crysis 3) The CPU gets to 55°C while gaming. Of course the fans stay in acceptable noise...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I didn't mod the backside cooler, but it's a very close fit. The RAM modules align with the cooler's mounting holes and behind the cooler there's just enough room for the USB 3.0 cable. I removed the original fan from the SFX power supply and mounted a 80mm fan on the outside. It's controlled...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Does the Arctic Freezer 13 fit into the M1? I'm just worried because according to arctics product page, the cooler has a height of 130mm. The exact maximum for the M1. Can I still install the side bracket with such a cooler?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I thought Nvidia didn't released a reference design so all the partners just use the old designs. To make the Twin Turbo fit, the die and hole placing is important.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

The fans are constantly running, but I modded the Bios to control the fan speed. The fans are fastened with screws. Sadly almost all GTX970 cards have coil whine and mine is no exception. I didn't want to send back 10 cards to get one that is merely quieter than the first one. The PCB has the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I use the GPU Fan header and a Y-Splitter for the bottom fans. I Also switched the PSU Fan und control it trough the CPU Fan header. All Fans are Noiseblocker 120mm BlackSilent Pro PWM fans. So the motherboard controls the Cpu fan and the corsair H55 pump and the GTX970 controls the bottom fans...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

@Urelure - One can mount the Twin Turbo in two of the three "slots" (Different holes in the mounting plate) and it still fits into the M1 (Tested with GTX670 & GTX970 only). Of course you should choose the holes that install the cooler closer to the motherboard try side - I have a GTX970...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

When you remove the Fans of a Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo III there's just enough space for two normal 120mm Fans. Mine exhaust at the bottom too.
