It's essentially a dell credit card with a really bad interest rate. As long as you pay your bill in full on time you will incur no additional charges. I've had a account for about two years and had no problems with it.

I got mine today. It has 2 pixels stuck on and some minor backlight problem but I'm keeping it. I had to look really hard to find the pixels so I'm not complaining at $486. It's a beautiful monitor. :)

I couldn't ignore the better specs and went with the 2005FPW.

According to the specs 2001FP has a contrast ratio of 400:1. The 2005FPW is 600:1. The 2001FP brightness is 250 cd/m2 and on the 2005FPW it's 300 cd/m2. From someone that has both can you actually tell the difference? I want a standard screen but darnit I want those higher specs!

I'm agonizing over whether to get the widescreen or not. Can you really discern the increased specs of the 2005FPW over the 2001FP?

The thing that confuses me is I can run fine at stock speeds 200x9 with a 1:1 memory ratio but if I try 300x9 with a 2/3 memory ratio it will not boot. To run stable I have to use the 1/2 memory ratio which forces me to use a 150 mhz ddr speed. Anyone have any insite concerning this?

Seems I have terrible luck. I can only get my 3000+ to boot at 1.85 ghz (9X205). I feel like I wasted my money on this damn thing. :(

Just enable the console in the keyboard advanced menu and press ~. Type maps * to get a list of maps. Then type map d2_beach_03.bsp or so to get back to where you were.

Had 0 problems so far. Finally a game that doesn't suck and lives up to the hype. :) Once the steam servers settle down then people will quit having problems and all will be well in the world.

You don't need to forward any ports to make cs:source work properly. You must have some other problem.

Just added a Garmin 76CS to my collection. Very impressive unit. The others are a Garmin 2610 and eTrex summit.

I also played those two games. They seemed very ahead of their time at least until Captain Goodnight came out. hehe If you want to play Castle Wolfenstein and BCW again then download a apple ][ emulator and the roms for them.

As long as you have a legit cd key it doesn't matter if you use a no cd crack. You can play multiplayer just fine.

I have a 2.2 gig magicstor microdrive in my gps system and am happy with it. Surely not as durable as a solid state device but they do the trick reliably.
