I think the fault is not the AUO panel quality, but Asus assembly quality!
If I pull the Rog's angle a little, the BLB will disappear almost at all!
I think that would be enough a better care in the assembly, to have a really amazing gaming monitor!
I agree, in fact I use the 16/10 U2415 for...
I wish that was blacks look grey, but in this monitor black looks like yellow, and it's much worse!
On the Dell that little glow visible just in deep black does not alter colors , while on the asus the yellow glow alters them so much!
Correct, the U2415 is 16/10 aspect ratio... vertical size is almost the same to the 27'' 16/9
The defect may be a little enhanced by the photo, but my eyes see the same.
All three monitors has been calibrated to 120cdmq with X-Rite colorimeter.
I also tested a Dell U2715h so long in my...
Just recieved my new Asus ROG Swift PG279Q, but I'm very disappointed by high bleed/glow! :(
This is the rog compared with my other 2 monitors: in order Samsung S32D850, Asus ROG Swift PG279Q, Dell U2415.
In a dark room, the Asus is clearly the worst::
How I see the Rog in various...
A racing game fanatic friend needs a fast 27'' 120hz+ display, for PC and consoles too (PS4 and Xbox1).
G-Sync will be a great benefit for PC Gaming but unfortunately Gsync monitors like Philips 272G5DYEB (and Asus PG278Q) have display port only.
Even if G-Sync and 144h will remain unused in...
I need a new monitor for my shop, and these new ones from Eizo seems very interesting.
Eizo FlexScan EV2450: - 23.8" 16/9 - 1920×1080 - IPS Panel
Eizo FlexScan EV2455: - 24.1" 16/10 - 1920x1200 - IPS Panel
They should look really gorgeous on my shop counter.
I would prefer a 16/10...
I'm looking for a little Micro ATX case for this config:
MoBo: AsRock X99m Killer
CPU: I7 5820 with Corsair H100i cooler.
GPU: Single Hi End GPU (now GF 780ti), but I don't want to exclude the possibility to add a second GPU in the future. (for that reason I want 5 PCI slots)
Standard ATX PSU...
I need to purchase a X99 mobo for a Multi GPU system, so I can't use a good soundcard (and I want to avoid external ones).
I will plug it on a good old Entuxiast Home Theater Amplifier (Optical), and I want the best 7.1 / DTS sound for gaming and movies.
The only one with a creative chip is...
Thank you,it's difficult to understand the difference well just from a photo, but it seems less noticeable tnan mine.
If I slide my head in front of the monitor with a dark image, I see clearly the cone that follow my look, and I can see it even if I'm standing in front of the monitor, and...
Someone can tell me if BenQ ha the same "va cone" issue of mine S32D850?
I can live with the banding issue, but this is really annoying me, and I have only 3 days left to recess the Samsung and buy the Benq (when I will find an available one)
Here you can notice how in the S32D850 the "glow" change with the point of view, even if it is highlighted due to long exposition time, compared to what you can see with the naked eye:
Is the same for the Benq?
So every AOC 32'' 1440p AMVA panels have banding issue... :(
But now I used a 32'' display I never could go back to a smaller monitor!
I do not know if my eyes have become accustomed, or it's the strength of resignation, but today the band seems less noticeable than yesterday ...
Maybe it's...
You are right, I'm still missing my old Trinitron CRT...
I can notice the band only in middle tone grey scale, I don't see them in dark greys like this forum colors, or light grey close to white.
In normal colored image I can't see it, but I noticed the bands in some shades of colors during the...
There is an option "PC/AV Mode" in OSD, screen fit in 1080p/720p is perfect if you set the default PC mode, but in AV mode it overscan a little (the taskbar will be partially hidden)
I'm really impressed from the scaler, it's really good and in 1920x1080 it almost seems to work on a native...
I played GTA5 a little on PS3, just to see how the S32D850 works with the console, (good scaler for a PC monitor!) but sadly I immediately noticed the dark bar in the cloudy sky.
Maybe It's a small flaw in a wonderful monitor, but when you spend much it's difficult to accept these issues. :(
But...
Unfortunately I have to confirm that the Samsung shows the same banding issue. :(
At least you can see it only in some gray scale shades.
Color uniformity seems good:
Black level is not bad, but I expected better from a VA panel, and backlight bleed is noticeable in corners:
I don't...
Just delivered my new Samsung S32D850, (I was tired to looking for the Benq without find an avaiable one) first impression is good, but unfortunately it shows the same darker bars issues of the BL3200pt...
Even if I can see them only in a few shades of gray, and probably if I were not just...
I can't find a Benq BL3200pt to buy in Italy, but I could buy a Samsung S32D850T.
The only thing that concern me is overdrive settings, I know in the Acer B326HUL has not adjustable overdrive, and it shows strong overshot like the BL3200pt with overdrive "AMA premium" setting.
But the BenQ have...
I think 32' 2560x1440 AMVA is the betterchoice for me, I just wish it was a little more responsive.
I hope to find a review with input lag measurement also for the 32-inch from Samsung and Qnix.
I tried a Crossover 2735amg, beautiful colors and very responsive for a 1440p IPS, but he had...
I would like to buy a "big" monitor for mullti purpose, gaming, amateur computer graphics, and video/photo editing.
I consider myself a videophile, it think the visual quality is very important, even if I use also a projector for movies and some games.
There are many interesting proposals on...
IPS glow is terrible and I hate it, but there are monitors like the Eizo EV2736W where Glow is almost imperceptible.
But I love more the black depths of a VA panel, I would have definitely bought the Benq BL3200pt if it had been a little more responsive.
IMy problem is that I am a "videophile"...
Asus does not manufacture LCD panels, and there are not 1440p IPS panels that support native 120/144Hz, this is not an Asus fault.
What I don't understand is why gamers are content with TN screens with poor visual quality, if there was a greater demand for IPS / VA for gaming too, manufacturers...
In My Humble Opinion a TN monitor over 200$ is always overpriced, even if with 4k resolution and 240hz.
If only they would produce a 120hz Gsync IPS/VA 1440p, maybe it could worth 800$, but not with a TN panel.
I wish Eizo will make a 27'' 1440p Foris one day, i'm tired of 24'' 1080p displays...
I totally agree, any monitor review should test everything.
I do a lot of things with my monitor, I can't have a Plasma TV for watch movies, an IPS monitor to work with images, and a fast TN display to play games.
Before to buy a display, I would like to know everything about them, and chose...
Just check displaylag database to buy the fastest one. :)
Input lag can be very high on some TV.
If you want to adopt a 4k TV, the Panasonic AX800 is the only one with Display Port, necessary for 2160p@60hz connected to a PC.
My friend just purchased it and he is very satisfied. :)
Thanks you for your useful informations.
Now I know that if 32'' must to be, it has to be the BenQ BL3200pt.
Or maybe the Samsung S32D850, I'm waiting some feedback from the first customers. :)
Maybe you are right, I would like a monitor with the responsiveness of a TN, The color accuracy of IPS and the black depths and no-glow of a VA, but it's impossible to have everything in a single monitor.
In fact I'm looking for the best compromise, and I also found it in the Crossover 2735amg...
I love racing games and 10ms could make the difference on lap times.
When I was playing to GT Academy on PS3, and I switched from my maybe laggy TV to the PC monitor, I instantly gained almost 0,1s per lap and many positions in the world ranking.
"assetto corsa" and "P.Cars" are incoming, and I...
I't not the price to stop me, but the pretty high input lag...
Then if I tried to use it maybe I could not even realize the problem and be happy for the purchase, but 600€ is too much for just a try. ;)
If they had not come out other monitors with the same panel, maybe I would have bought...
Very nice, I can't wait for your impressions, especially regard to the input lag. :)
I't a very good price, unfortunately in Italy I can't find it for less than 600€ (816$), which is the same price of an "official" Benq BL3200pt... :(
If only I could find it at 450€ (610$) I'd buy...
I'm not a graphic designer, so I never worried about calibration.
Now I just purchased an X-Rite Colormunki display cause I found a good deal in second hand market, and I was curious to try it.
After calibrating my monitor and projector, I wonder how I could use it without calibration for all...
I had read the review of TFT-C, but I was hoping that Prad got better results as they did with Benq BL2710PT, maybe using DP instead DVI-D.
But the result was the opposite of what I was hoping. :(
I hope to find a review with input lag measurement before to buy it, (even for Qnix QX320QHD)
I was really intent on buying this Benq before reading the Prad review, but 33,8ms input lag with "AMA" High made me change my mind. :(
But the Samsung seems to be the more expensive 32''...
