    As for the cloud, I play offline. always have. I Haven't been online of late (gaming wise) except to get weather for flightsims :) I"m a loner as far as gaming goes. It's just how I like to be and I know I'm in the minority.

    Should I buy Madden 2009 or 2010?

    I bought 2009 due to being cheap. 2010 brings a lot more to the table- like 1080i res for those of us still on first gen HDTV's (almost 7 years on that set and going strong) and slower speeds. I enjoy '09 FWIW as a knock around game.

    Psssssssst Cables is cables. The sender and receiver do matter, but generally, cables is cables. I've got a 30' HDMI cable that I bought for short money from the manufacturer and It's been perfect with my PS3 to a Front PJ.

    Now if companies could leverage these types of properties with modern engines. Full Throttle and Betrayal at Krondor were great games. their graphics just don't stand up. Even the old Wing Commander games were awesome.
