I got a gigabyte 970 itx. Just fyi for anyone considering this card - it is super loud at idle even after setting the fan to a minimum speed of 33%. It is not a good option if you are looking for a quiet system. I wish they made it possible to shut the fan off at idle.
I'm using the ASUS Z97i as well. Filters on the outside so they are easy to access. Few pics before gpu:
I thought I would have enough room for a full 970, but I guess I either need a different ATX PSU or an SFX to pull that off. I'm not sure if it's worth it over an itx 970 since the SFX PSU...
The orientation of the energy input into the psu did not fit. Necere answered my question. Luckily, I had a spare Antec New Truepower 650w (seasonic rebrand), so I can still finish this christmas build.
I'm assembling my M1 and I've run into a problem regarding the power supply. I'm using a CX600 as I've seen other people use it and the power plug orientation matches the suggestion:
My problem is that this orientation seems wrong. It seems as though the plug on my M1 would be better suited...
OK thanks, I wasn't sure because I thought I saw some builds with very large coolers.
I went with Noctua NH-C12P SE14, Fractal Design Silent Series 92mm Fan, and Bgears Fan Filter 90mm.
Hello, I am finally building my M1. I am wondering about heatsinks. Will the Noctua U12S and U14S fit? Will I have to sacrifice the 120mm fan on the side if I use either of them? Thank you
I have only recently found out about the NCASE M1 and it looks beautiful.
My questions are: What is holding back production? Why aren't they taking preorders so they can order a larger number of cases and perhaps reduce per unit cost? Why wait to take preorders?
It seems that all the left...
