There is Mini-DisplayPort and DisplayPort so check which one do your graphic card have or if it have any?
That cable should be fine I don't think it will be a problem so go ahead and buy it (if your graphic support that DisplayPort).
No Vesa mounting for the LG's new Curved Monitor just...
Agree with X3sphere
LG 34UM95 is still selling strong so there is no point to release this monitor so early. I think this monitor will be release earliest in 2015.
There is no USB cable with the LG 34UM95 so you need to buy one. Actually you need 2. One from the i1 Display Pro to the monitor and one from the monitor to the PC. I think the i1 Display Pro should come with a USB cable so you only need to buy another one so you can connect the monitor USB to...
The Humanscale M2 is also great but I just like the look of the M8 more :). I wonder if you can use AOC Monitor stand on the LG 34UM95? If yes then its also a nice option to do it. Now you just need someone to buy it and try and see if it works then put it on Ebay lol.
Sounds nice. Man Humanscale M8 is the most beautiful monitor arm IMO but it also a bit too expensive. Hopefully amazons.de will low the price when they get it in stock. Now I just need to find a good desk since my desk is too small for 2 monitors.
Wth wow Humanscale for only 50$. You must be really lucky. I'm try to find a cheap one here but first I need to find another desk. Humanscale M8 in EU is almost 400€ and it's actually really hard to find.
Edit: that thickness of your desk is it thick enough for Humanscale to hold the LG...
When talking about dead pixel then I think there is no one who got a dead/stuck pixel yet? That's pretty nice.
I bet someone will post a picture of their LG 34UM95 with a big dead pixel cover half of their screen after this post :P
Anyone have a 10bit GPU and try use DisplayPort 1.2 and see if it will make "pop" sound ect.
If there is still "pop" sound ect. Then I think there is problem with the monitor. Maybe it will get fix in a firmware update.
If its £499 in UK then there is 99% chance that it also be $499 in US or even cheaper!
Now I want to buy AOC version too then I got a LG and AOC :D or wait for them to release one with G-sync or Free-Sync (probably next year).
I also bought mine in Denmark and I think they are all from the first batch. You have better chance to get a June one from overclock.co.uk or amazon.de. If you buy from amazon.de then it need to be from amazon and not their partner because most of them seems they been send back to them after...
That is really bad news for people who want to buy a new monitor.
Now they don't know which one to choose lol. the 40 Inches sound really interesting but maybe its too big for me. I guess the Philips one will be release next year since it only show on September 2014.
The price is going...
The monitor stand is beautiful and look stronger + more expensive than the LG one. If I can get my money back from the "broken" LG 34UM95 then I think I may wait for this one.
Anyone know how AOC as a brand and how is their RMA service? I never hear about this brand untill recently.
Just got an update on RMA of this Monitor. The retail that I bought this monitor from says they sent the LG 34UM95 to the producer (I guess to LG?) and the "producer" says that they didn't found any problem with the monitor and the retail just got the monitor back and already sent it to me...
Wow that is really bad Support. Good thing that I didn't bought this monitor through Ebay or I'll have a bad time to send it back if its defected.
This month is really bad for me since I just send this Monitor to RMA and its been about 5-6 days now and still nothing but I didn't do it...
Man the Stand on this Monitor is so nice. Alot better than the LG.
btw I hear from another Forum that LG is redesign/fix a little of the 34UM95 monitor. Anyone hear anything about that? Maybe they fix the "pop" sound when you turn on DisplayPort 1.2?
I'm RMA my LG 34UM95 for Backlight...
Man this Monitor is really hard to find now (or at least where I live). I just send my Monitor back because of glow/bleed. I'm not sure if they will fix it or send me a replacement but hopefully I'll at least get my money back instead the same monitor that I sent them.
Anyone have any more...
My monitor arrive yesterday and here it is :)
I need a bigger desk hehe
Havent really play much with it yet and everything seems to be ok so far. I really like it but I need to find a good movie and watch it sometime.
To people that got a Monitor Stand/ARM can you please give me...
You can now pre-order this Monitor in UK at Overclock.co.uk for only £799.99. It says it may release 16. May.
Thats cheaper than in Denmark. I think I may wait untill next week before buy this monitor. Maybe more Online Store in Denmark will get it in Stock :)
Anyone bought this monitor on Amazon.de? If yes can you tell me who did you buy it from since there is so many of them and how long did it takes to get it?
I may order this monitor this week but i just need to find a cheap, fast delivery and good place to buy it from. At the moment I can get...
Can anyone tells me if this Vesa Mounting (not sure if I use the right word lol) work?

Anyone got any PS3/PS4 games and can take some pictures with this LG 34UM95 Monitor? I play mostly The Last of Us on PS3 and I want this LG/Dell Monitor for Movie, Web...
I'm almost in the same position as you. I have a Samsung 120hz 27' monitor and plan to either buy a LG 34UM94 or a 4K Monitor like that Samsung on your post.
At the moment my plan is to get the LG 34UM94 for movie and stuff then buy the Asus 1440p 120hz with G-sync (when its out - rumor says...
That one is only 2560 x 1080 but this one is 3440x1440:
