I am inclined to think this is true after using this monitor in person. Its pretty wild how instantaneous everything feels in motion compared to every other monitor I have ever used.

I think it must be a combination, as I was running one of the 55CX models when it first came out to play Cyberpunk and i just dont remember it being this clear. Have you looked into flashing the NA firmware on the EU hardware? I can't see how that would effect it negatively, although i can understand why you wouldn't want to do it with your shiny new TV. Good luck bro and i hope they push the NA firmware capability out to you soon.

Buy a really quality HDMI cable and shorten the length. My displays were ALWAYS doing this. Don't use any adaptors, just like.. a 5 foot cable (max) and make sure its really well shielded ect. This will probably fix your artifacting woes.

Went from several of LG's ultra wides and a 40" 4k to 1080p. Refresh rate means more to me than pixels these days.

Really depends on the person. I'm using 3 50 inch panels @ 1080p 120HZ. With scaling at minimum i cannot see individual pixels, but i'm not sitting close to the panels either.

I watch every one of his videos. But he seems to highlight color accuracy and panel types and G-Sync/Free Sync. I've never heard him really talk about dropped frames, PWM, or show a UFO test for an "overclocked" monitor. With the G-Sync module almost assuredly giving this panel its 100HZ...

I wonder if Linus actually tested for dropped frames or if he just got it to post the screen @85hz and assumed it worked. For how long he's been around, I have little faith in his technological understanding of monitors outside of marketing buzzwords.

I get no sense of immersion from my old ROG swift, nor from the Qnix before that, nor from the XL2720Z before that. The ultrawides were nice but 60HZ really detracts from enjoyment. If i'm playing on a 27 inch (or less, ew) sized panel, its because its league of legends or something...

Eh. I use 3 50 inch seikis. They're natively 4k but I run them at 1080p@120hz. I sit about 3 feet away and they're stunning. I also use a retina MacBook Pro, which as far as clean lines go, is much nicer.. But the motion clarity of 120hz on a big panel is much MUCH more appealing to the eyes. (IMO).

That is a pretty damn long wait for the panel.. Not sure if i want to wait until then.

Question for anyone who has a strong background in using it, is super sampling really the beez knees like stated in the NCIX video? This monitor looks perfect outside of the pixel density, but I'm using 3 50 inch 1080p panels right now, and have no issues.

HDMI won't carry a 2560x1440 signal at 144hz. Your GPU isn't compatible with dual ROG swift monitors @native rez and refresh rate, if I had to guess.
