After you have the file open, select all (Ctrl + A), open a new file (Ctrl + N) and paste into the new file (Ctrl + V) and then save.
I've done this on several files in the past. Some kind of file corruption may have occured, or the original file may have all kinds of swatches or actions or...
I think UT2k3 was the first game that used UE2(?), along with UT2k4 afterwards. If you were to find a DVD copy of UT2k4, you'd also get tons of hours of training videos, for using the Unreal Editor, on the 2nd disc. I know that every Unreal game comes with a copy of Ued, but not sure what...
I got a few of those things a few weeks ago. I use Opera's M2 client with only a few filters set up, and get about 1 spam message through per month.
I noticed that all of these pictures of "hot stocks" came with some part of my email address in the header. I then filtered my own email...
Umm, MusicMatchJukeBox, I'll assume that is what was used to rip all the cds to your own library, will do this as well. It can (if you are too lazy) look up the tags using the CDDB.
I wouldn't bother with d/l'ing any other software, as MMJB's super tagging ability does a great job, but YMMV...
This is a pretty good effort for one who's new to AI. The portrait is very basic, but the shapes and colors are a good foundation for some more detail and a more complete looking drawing.
The bamboo looks like you spent a bit more time on it. Take what you have used in this drawing to spice...
TBH, 7.5 does everything I need. Later versions seem to have features for d/l'ing music from their store, but I have no use for that. Now that I take a look at the page, it seems they've added a couple features I *might* use, like Export to spreadsheet and the Duplicate track finder. Also, I...
Every time I re-install my OS, there's only a couple apps that I can't live without:
MMJB - I'm still using 7.5
Irfanview
Opera
Acrobat Reader (or Adobe Reader now IIRC?)
I have no need for all these Ad-aware type programs most people seem to use, but I do always put NAV on along with...
This will show you how to do what you ask. I just pulled this from a random google link. It has a ton of advertising, but it shows you what you need and the terminology that will help you as well.

I'm sure some Photo-finishing shops in your area can print them for you.
A local shop here will do prints 5x7 for $0.30 ea (Cdn). It's much more cost effective than using your $40-50 ink cartridges. I just refilled my $130 Epson printer with 4 standard cartridges and it cost me $100 for the...
I use Mixmeister and have made some awesome (and not just my opinion) mixes with it. Of course if you try to use the 'auto beat-match' features, it will sound like crap by comparison.
It's not a 'live' mixer either, but really simple to use. Check out the info page for details. I'm using a...
The 'unidentified' icon next to Doom3 is the HLSW server browser icon. (which is a really kick-ass tool btw!). It was one I noted in my first post ^^^^^.

Umm, no. Actually AdobeFnt.lst is installed with many (if not all?) Adobe programs. It goes into my c:\PSFONTS directory along with all the fonts that I've used Adobe's software to install.
It's possible they could be Mac fonts...?

Copy it to Wordpad, make the changes you want, and save it. Wordpad doesn't think for you, and can still retain a lot of the formatting that Word creates. And consider getting/using a better word processor, such as WordPerfect.

After spending a few minutes toying with Nero, I found out that what I actually wanted was Nero Express which has the simple options that I was looking for. I haven't used it yet, but my next data cd will be done with Nero for trial purposes.
Thanks for the tips though.
THC
Hmmm,
I'd be interested in this as well. I don't use Nero often, but tried to use it to make a 'data' cd yesterday. These are the options when I open Nero:
1. CD-ROM (ISO)
2. Audio CD
3. Mixed Mode CD
4. CD Extra
5. CD Copy
6. Video CD
7. Super Video CD
8. Mini DVD
9. CD-ROM (Boot)...
I use WeatherEye. I'm not sure if this is a similar type of app as from the WeatherChannel, but it gives updates, contains no spyware and you don't need to be limited to a US zip-code for it to work. It's from the Weather Network, which we get here in Canada.
It runs in the systray, uses a...
Ok, here's a sample of the error on the last link I posted:
It does this in Mozilla 1.5, and Firebird 0.9 as well. Have you guys ever been to Slashdot? That page renders funny as well. Perhaps I've somehow got 2 b0rked installs of Gecko engined browsers, but I know these pages do not look...
I seem to be one of only few people who have found that Firebird/Mozilla et al. still don't render pages correctly. After reading the comments about Gecko having the 'best renderer' I laughed and then laughed some more.
In the link I posted earlier where I had 2 images linked to the W3C site...
Yeah, here check it out: . Maybe I've got an older version that was a bit buggy with this?
Either way, it wouldn't make a bit of difference to me, as Mozilla/Firefox et al. is a distant secondary browser for me.

Proud Opera user since 5.01 or was it 5.11...? Anyway, this latest release with the RSS newsfeeds is the best yet. I use my 'browser' for irc chat, RSS newsfeeds, Email and newsgroups (except binaries :o).
I love how easy it is to disable images, javascript, pop-ups, sound, plug-ins, cookies...
Mozilla can easily transfer favorites, Opera does it on installation to it's own folder called 'Imported IE favorites', and is a much smaller d/l and better browser than Mozilla (IMO). I would also suggest after you get your pc back to a working condiditon, that you re-name iexplore.exe to a...
I've done up the vector black & white for you so whatever else you want done will be np.
You can see the sample I've re-done for you below.
What is the "colored" version gonna be used for? If print, I can say that I will not be able to create those effects in vector form without...
I can certainly do this for you but would rather not if Ezteh is going to. It's a very simple design that would take only a few minutes (or less if you knew what font your name is in).

actually 3ee Dee answered badjokes question with a tutorial that explained exactly how it would be done with PS CS.
I don't think much more can be said about how it's done, as it's all there in the tutorial. PS is not a good program for creating vector art, a few vector paths maybe, but...
In PS, on the layer that you want partially transparent, create an opacity mask on that layer, and start painting in your black/white until you get the effect you want.
Once you've done painting, then goto File -> Save For Web. You'll notice a huge difference in quality going from .gif to...
I've never really done that, but once the track is loaded in your mix-list, you can copy/paste/crop etc, so I would say yes. Essentially all I use it for is cross fading one song into another. You can place the songs/clips/samples et al. in any position and have the sound fade in/out wherever...
I use MixMeister for this. Well actually I use it to make mix-cd's, but I assume that it will do exaclty what you need.
You place songs, each is it's own layer, and it has fade controls as well as basic mixing funcions such as speed (only for the start/beginning of tracks though), bass &...
I don't see any logo's here, but if you're asking which web-banner we like best, I don't like any of them. The best of them however is #4, but I still don't like it.

You could always go to Adobe's site. They've got some good tutorials. You'll have to navigate thru their java system for AI tuts.
