They can get at least two maybe three Ancient Aliens episodes out of this. Can't wait for David Childress to look sober-faced at a fake interviewer and tell him it's evidence that the Nazis discovered time travel.
If it's 60hz g-sync you're good. If you're trying to go higher with a 144hz g-sync monitor, it's not g-sync that's the problem. FO4 physics is tied to 60 fps. If you go higher, you'll get glitches, the worst being getting stuck in any terminal you try to use or hack.
Believe me I've tried...
Mixed feelings. Second verse- same as the first. I was entertained but something was ...odd. Like it jumped the shark. (I know, right?) Not the special FX, the story. Kudos for using less CGI. There's a corny charm to Star Wars that I knew wouldn't be there. I figured it would be good...
yeah I've gamed with many Dells IPS and a few korean. My U3011- unbelievable color and kept me warm in the winter. What a great monitor that was. I wouldn't trade it for my 4K TN g-sync tho.
If you don't know what you're missing, you aren't sensitive to it. But once you've seen how smooth...
I notice you have an H100i and an AX1200. I have both myself. I don't allow monitoring software while playing games anymore. I have ASUS AI Suite 3 uninstalled, Corsair Link Uninstalled; I do use Afterburner.
The polling could cause some stuttering. I've seen it with ASUS AI Suite 3 and I...
I've been using SLi for years, I don't recall a game where I couldn't find a working fix. And some games just don't need SLi. With fallout 4, mods and tweaks will help with SLi utilization. I'm @ 4K fighting in the the city streets with a solid 59 fps. I see 70-80 percent all the time.
I...
The changes at the end of Return were much needed and welcomed. Why don't you outline the paper thin story for us? :D
He did go too far with some of the changes, but some I agree with.
The first (ep4) was as easy as black and white. Literally. Good vs Evil. Simple...easy to understand. Wizards, dark lords and cowboys.
I think the pre-quels dealt with more complex themes. He tried to make movies for younger people that started with Jar Jar Binks and ultimately concluded...
Crawl out through the Fallout, baby!
These screens aren't great action. I could put on my power armor get in a nice fire fight but since I just read these posts while playing the game I figured I'd post what I'm playing now. I can post screens all day in the high 50s maxed with TXAA. So far at...
Yeah I can pretty much max out 4K with G-sync and SLi on 60 fps and it's good, There are some rough spots where it dips into the 50s fps. It's a weird game visually. The character models are out of Half-Life- the first half-life lol but it does look decent at times.
Right now I'm playing @ 2K...
You can set SLi DX 11 bits to Batman: Arkham Origins using NVinspector. Seems to work quite well.
I've played it @ 4K in SLI GTX 980 Ti- the textures are just not good enough for 4K IMHO.
I'm sure the high-res texture packs and mods are on the way.
The winner by number scramble and random number generator is MavericK96 !
Congrats and enjoy the game! Thank you all for entering and- hope you have fun for Halloween!
Yep QFT That's why I want to support this game.
After playing it for several hours myself, it's shaping up to be a pretty fun, intense game.
And in case you didn't know HybridHB, hold your dollars until after Saturday. There's an Ashes of the Singularity game giveaway. Look in the Free...
I would usually try to sell this for a few bucks but I figured I'd have a little fun since it's a gift for my support of Ashes of the Singularity. This is for the standard version of the game.
I don't know if you get early pre-Beta access with this key or you'll have to wait until official...
It should be appreciated what he did to wake us up to the reality that the government collects information on us, but he's still an American traitor. The EU, being NATO states dependent on the US for security, should have more responsibility to
the country that butters their socialist bread...
QFT two Titan X's here also. The Witcher 3 in 4K SLI has been outstanding.
If privacy is an issue with Win 10, hunt down all the loopholes that MS uses to get information and close them, though it probably won't work.
I think we're sophisticated enough to use different PCs for different...
Well I don't think I would ever have two top tier AMD + NV cards in the same system.
One's going screw up the other in some way. If not, I'm sure NV is going to make it so. :p
I'd like to see if I can pick-up 5-10 fps in this game with a phys-x type mainstream card. That would be a...
AMD is better when they are the primary card. And microstuttering for AMD still ruins whatever FPS gains AMD makes.
Interesting article. I wonder what a 980 Ti and a say a 650 Ti would do together.
No motive to mix and match either. Not that we should.
So does Sins of a Solar Empire. Barely a one million budget when it first came out. And Sins is one of the best RTS ever. I support indie and Stardock for exactly this reason.
Sins was a pleasant surprise and I think the same of this game.
Actually, the game quality is pretty good...
If you've ever played SupCom FA forever online, if you have a game speed of -2 or -3 after a few hours- you're lucky. Frames per second mean nothing when units are moving slow and are slow to respond. -2 means everyone has a pretty good system. Get a guy with laptop in the game and other...
I got a couple hours invested in it. I've been playing on the hardest level since the start. I think a lot gamers play on the normal levels and get bored. If it takes you a half an hour to down a draconid (without getting killed) you know you're having fun. I think it's a good game. I'll...
I'm a founder also. It seems AMD is defeating AMD more than it's defeating NV. The DX 12 gains for AMD are unreal, but they just match NV's DX 12 performance, perhaps a frame or two better in some scenarios. Everyone should be able to play this game well with most hardware. And that's a...
In DX 12, the benchmark is consistently under 4 GB in VRAM for NV Maxwell 2 with higher settings and resolution.
In DX 11, the benchmark is consistently over 4GB in VRAM for NV Maxwell 2 with higher settings and resolution.
This thread has grown beyond my technical expertise. But I swear, the Witcher 3 run in DX 12 TX SLI (win 10) is that much better on an Acer 28 4K G-sync TN. It's like butter. I mean it's so good, I can't say it without fear of being ridiculed. Vram usage has doubled passed 4.5 Gb (vs win...
I have the Acer 28 inch 4K G-sync and I run two Titan Xs. It's a gaming only monitor and I highly recommend it. If you want something for movies or text get something larger as an accessory. If your in for a penny you might as well be in for a pound. But for input lag and g-sync, 4K looks...
I dunno. Every time I see someone talk about ref. vs non-ref. they always seem to say the reference NV all come from the same factory.
They just put the sticker on right? But then they can cherry pick the ref. cards for FTW or SCs or whatever, which they don't seem to do. It's seems pot...
Perhaps they could cherry-pick for their custom cards. But wouldn't reference designs be pot luck? Don't they come from the same factory?
I've seen a difference with low ASIC and high ASIC cards. It's not etched in stone, but...it would be nice to at least think you might have parity...
I don't know if this is worth actually money...at least not that much money. But it is annoying if you have SLI and one card sails OC and another card tanks.
*Actually, if EVGA offered free guaranteed binning for SLI through their webstore that would be rather nice.
It could also be the polling from monitoring software. I noticed the "skipping" and it disappeared after I unistalled most of my monitoring software.. ASUS AI Suite, etc. Everyone should be closing as many background processes as possible anyway if you want good gaming.
I'm going to have to dispute that, having dealt with Sapphire, which I could make a sitcom of their operation.. and Zotac, which is markedly better.
Sapphire, when I knew them made you pay both ways for shipping, after they tried to downgrade your RMA.
Zotac is much better. I know from recent...
Actually the last Zotac EE cooler was very good. And Zotac is very good with warranty issues. Perhaps not EVGA...but they are decent. I was probably their first RMA when I talked to Kelly years ago when they dumped cheap 8800 GTXs on the market.
This cooler. I dunno. It doesn't have the...
