I don't think I've been to a gamestop since I was a kid, I find it hard to still justify their existence when you can find better deals almost anywhere else
I guess people won't be able to walk around their 300i in V1 of the DFM according to a dev answer on the forum as it appears the ship will run you over when walk into a wall. I wonder if the'll just lock you down in your seat or allow you to get out but face the suicide glitch
Can't believe how long the current sq42 script is at 1000 pages, Chris said they can only shoot about 6-7 pages per day so it would take like a year and a half to film the whole game. Still looking forward to sp more than mp though, also I really hope they put that banner in the hangar at the...
One thing I wish they would keep are the functional panels that were in the early hornet videos instead of the whole hud on the helmet, but it's still early so they still have time to change that
it certainly does have its problems but i think its just the mobility and titan battles that has me drawn in that feels fresh.A lot of my friends are still playing COD year after year and I honestly don't see how they can keep playing it. The last time I was addicted to a game like that was CSS...
Can't afford it right now, not only would I have to invest in a monitor, but also an SLI setup as well to run it. Maybe when it gets cheaper I'll dive in
So I guess the huds are tied to the helmet then when you buy a ship? Maybe we'll get different types of helmets depending on what ship manufacture you go through. Anyways, with all the polishing they're doing for the dfm, I'm sure they'll have the other huds implemented
If that's true than I expect the jump to 20nm which I assume is the 900 series to be just a small leap from the 800 series since I'm sure they damn well squeezed out all they could from that die size. I just don't want them continuing to milk the hell out of these things like they did with the...
totally forgot about the avenger, well now I'm curious to see how they updated the ships with the new HUDs and all that. Hopefully there's enough of a difference between all them to make them feel unique
Would this be the first time the same process was used for 3 consecutive card generations? I'm hoping to upgrade to the 880 but it's slightly disappointing it's going to use the same die size as my 680 if that rumor is true.
So has it been confirmed the aurora and 300i are also going to be in V1 of the DFM? I thought I heard all single seat ships are first to launch so maybe they're waiting until closer to release date to show them off.
really liking the older sci tech used in the game, reminds me of that steam greenlit first person game in space that I can't remember the name of which has yet to come out. But yea after CM, i'm trying to avoid getting overly excited for this
I remember playing the first level on C3 and having it lag terribly with my 680 and 3770k that other levels didn't have, then I found out about the ropes issue so I wasn't the only one having problems. Glad they fixed it though, it was actually a pretty decent performer on my system at 1080p
I've got to agree, will probably wait for a cheaper steam sale before picking this up. Graphics look decent but the gameplay looks like its stuck in the last decade
Yea the new updates from the team seemed to really level the playing field in TNGSS, I only had a couple ships I liked at first but everybody is making great progress in making their ships look great
Well I think with the new Rift dev kits and consumer version getting closer to release which is suppose to have an even higher res screen, I think the new 20nm cards would benefit users greatly who want to max out games with rift support.
