Good god. No blacklight bleeding, but I had no idea IPS glow was this bad. (Exaggerated a fair bit by the camera, but still presents the problem.)

I guess no one was able to make a satisfying solution without the need for glasses or very specific viewing angles.

Am I misinformed? Is the display panel itself not seated behind a glass panel? I haven't seen the monitor in real life, but that is what I gathered from the images I've seen.

Does the glass panel cause a lot of glare, or is it also treated with a light matte coating?

Another thing, to those of you who own it, have you noticed any considerable black crushing compared to other panel types?

I am also curious about this. I don't intend to use it for FPS games often, but I'm curious how it handles relatively twitchy shooters like Counter-Strike.

Oh, I forgot, I also have an available DVI port, will I need a passive or active adapter to connect it from a HDMI source?

Are you sure it's PWM free? I checked out the link posted earlier in this thread with the list of PWM free monitors, which redirects to this article from tftcentral: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/news_archive/29.htm#benq_flicker_free The BL2410PT is not actually listed there, but the BL2710PT is.

How far can the display be adjusted vertically? I'm particularly curious if my 16mm speakers will fit underneath the bezel like they did with my former BenQ monitor.

Is there a source for this? And how can you tell if your monitor is PWM free before opening the packaging?

It says the Samsung is 75hz. And why would screen tearing occur on one of them if they're both displaying content at less than 60 FPS?
