same issue here, vm's loses network every few days. disable/enable on OS level re-instates connection ESX 5.5 windows server 2012 R2 E1000 driver I excluded the switch or physical esx nic as problem source. i just reconfigured to VMXNET3 driver. I ll post the result in a few days
