Speaking of older OS's and support, looks like you can get an updated NV driver for your GTX 760 running on Win7.
It's only a security update. No new features, game support or fixes...

Cracking down on "cracked clients".
How could this impact bunkering for something like the Pent?
If you haven't signed up and had your CPID verified, come and do so. If you are running Boinc projects for [H] then might as well register at BG so your work counts toward the team and individual stats.
We have a lot of Primegrid crunching but only a few users registered at BG, so, only 1/4 of...
We've been trading places with AMD Users at BG for a few weeks now. They popped back up a few days ago. We could use a few more sign ups there.
If you are crunching BOINC projects, even occasionally, sign up and whatever you crunch, whenever you crunch it will help the team. Individual stats...
Starting this year with a three day CPU only project.
Primegrid Challenge Series.
These tasks will add to your BG stats, too, if you've registered there.
So, I see there are note taking / meeting summary tools all over the place. For those that are jumping in, what are you using?
I have a couple customers using Fireflies. I kicked the first instance I saw out of a meeting since the customer didn't alert me nor speak up when I asked "who's that"...
What MB platform is/was the last best option for SLI? It seems the x299 systems were good options not very long ago. Are there any 600 or 700 series intel systems that support SLI?
AM5?
Very specific request and few ever come up on the auction site.
Looking for a GTX 560 SE - EVGA preferred. Msg me if you have one.
Got one or two but they were dead.

4TB NVME $190. Has been as low as $200 but usually $250

Some other stuff.
What are you all watching?
Pretty solid wireless KB for ~$50. I picked up their 75% version a few months ago and it's solid.
Usually ~$70.

The 75% is $40 for a few hours - lightning deal...
I bet it's 2x the cost of their LP 1650's during non crypto/pandemic scare-city ~$160. Bet's on ~$350?

This thing is an Amazon lightning deal, I used the promo code in the video below for 20% off and still got a 15% discount by clipping the coupon on the Amazon page. $21.22 for me.
I picked up an HP Z6 G4 that came with a Xeon Silver 4108. It's great for letting me set up the system and make sure everything is working, but, it's weak for crunching. I want to swap the CPU.
I saw the HP may accept the second generation scalable CPU's, Xeon x2xx, etc., but the ones I looked...
As cheap as I've seen for a new 2TB NVMe drive. Gen 3 and slower than others but much faster than a 2TB SSD in this form factor.

Not a bad set of gaming headphones. Small usb dac included is great if you don't have something similar as you can plug any set of headphones into it and it has a mic button - great for conference calls - MS Teams, Zoom, etc...
Fans look like garbage. Seriously, look a that giant EREBOSS heat sink with a super thin fan.
But $20-$40 for a hunk of metal isn't bad. No waiting 8 weeks for a MIR.
Google dumping 10 Million Intel CPU's.
Whenever massive data center upgrades occur we've had some wins in expensive multicore CPUs getting to consumers for cheap, for a short while.
I got a cool 12c for an x79 and a 20c for an x99r3 pretty cheap a while back.
In case some are willing to go this route for a GFX card.
To me, it's about the same as getting scalped - but with a 30 day return and a 1 year warranty.

this is a rare and super niche area of hobbyist computing.
The SLI of CPU's but for different reasons.
I was looking at another 2P to replace mine but settled on a TR instead.
Not "cheap" but for TR about as cheap as I've seen.
Spend the savings on a nvme drive.

Quick RAID 0 with new to me controller and expander from LSI and Intel. One with spinning disks and one with ssd's. The old controller was a 9265-8i and the new one is 9361-8i. Same disks and RAID 0 configs on each.
