I appreciate that :)
Those SF series PSU fans are actually high static-pressure. We've intentionally put that spec on top of the list, that way the fan could push air through the relatively high density components within a small PSU.
For your reference:
The one that you got from moddiy is a type 3 cable set, while the one that came with your PSU is type 4. Here's the difference, type 4 cable has 4 extra sense wires to improve voltage regulation and ripple suppression.
The cable you got from moddiy will work, but you'll have to cut the locking...
This one? If so, looks like there's not enough room to support 240rad AIO coolers from this photo. 120mm and 140mm AIO coolers seems to be the only options.
Correct!
That's exactly what araxie meant, Pump rpm under Cooler temp group which is the same as Liquid temp. You already have the pump under the H80i GT cooler temp.
Actually, the new GTs and GTX versions have an adjustable pump speed, silent and performance. And in terms of performance, i version to i GT version, gain is minimal. Few changes have made, mainly on aesthetics, color insert customization, and installation.
You might want to look into any entry level AIO coolers if budget is a concern. I'm sure any basic AIO cooler would still be better than a stock cooler.
Not from what we have seen internally in our comparative testing with 120mm spec rad coolers (H75 and H80i). Thicker rad or push/pull configuration didn't make much of a difference in performance so its not worth the added cost to the kit. H55 is the sweet spot and more than enough to keep...
I tried googling that fan with screw "tunnel", I don't think I am getting the correct results based on your description. Anyway, this is the first time I've heard of this type of issue, hence my curiosity. I don't think that you have to use a particular 120mm fan to mount it on the cooler's...
Initially, yes, we did run into some problems within the SW's features, but those are all gone now, as we have been pretty on point addressing persistent bugs the moment we see it. We have seen a huge improvement in the last few versions, especially the latest version. It has gotten so much...
Personally, in terms of aesthetics, the GTX's pump version looks more pleasing compare to its predecessor. With GTX you will be able to change the pump cap and radiator inserts to match your system's color scheme. Mounting hardware will be different as well, and the pump speed for the GTX...
Yeah, pump noise in the first few days with brand new AIO coolers are not uncommon. You'll just have to give it some time and let the trapped air inside the unit to work itself out of the system.
Ah cool. I think we did try putting up our own (staff) profiles, but they are not as sophisticated like the ones created by our customers. So we ended up not sharing them because they look so generic next to those flashy profiles you see in that hall of fame lol.
I heard some talks about lua...
Glad to hear that you like it.
From a sales stand point, the K70 is more popular than the K95. I think its because the K70 has all the basic functionality you need for both gaming and work related task without having to deal with the G keys. It's more appealing for general use so to speak...
I used to have the K95 RGB and played some MMO games with it. The G keys were great, they came in pretty handy for the most part when using macros. Now that I can barely find time playing MMOs, gave that one to my brother and got me a K70 RGB. Tbh, I like this one better for some reason. It feels...
Exactly my mindset before joining Corsair, but later found out that there are actually good reason why we do not recommend it. As much as we wanted to say "Yes, mixing sets of RAM is guaranteed", we just simply can't due to various technical reasons. The best thing we can say is, it may or may...
Glad to hear that you're loving the K70 :)
We had to combine our DIY and Gaming hardware into one entity rather than 2. To do that, we've decided to come up with a new logo that will represent both divisions henceforth. Corsair and Corsair Gaming will now be under a unified banner that is more...
I see. I guess it's because the KB turns in to a basic Keyboard when you have the polling rate switch to BIOS, hence the lighting profile from CUE gets disabled and switches back to default.
Kind of like this?
Yeah, I don't think our K70 is compatible with that kind of adapter. Very interesting though, it's probably worth exploring in the future, perhaps something that our HID components can benefit from.
1. Warranty starts from the date it was purchased.
2. There isn't really a time frame nor an official MTBF for these AIO coolers as they are composed of multiple components that could affect one another and will eventually cause the cooler's failure. The 5 year warranty period is a good amount...
I'm curious, what device is that? if you don't mind me asking.
You won't be disappointed with the K70 RGB. If you liked the K65, you'd love the K70. The sails logo version are a little hard to find nowadays, but with a bit of luck, I'm sure that you'll find one of those out there.
Wow! lots of Corsair love here :) Not sure how I missed this thread. Just wanted to drop by and say thank you guys for taking the time to share your amazing experience with our after sales support team.
I'll definitely share those kind words with our friends over at customer service, and show...
We haven't tested it ourselves, so I don't know if one of the GPU coolers will reach the top. But if it doesn't, you can always try and mount the rad on the bottom right next to the PSU. And I don't think that you can mount it up front, HDD cage is pretty close so there isn't enough space.
Now you know that we'll stand behind our product ;) Glad to see that we've got it all sorted out for you.
Yes, that is correct, they are going to be technically the same in terms of overall performance, except for a couple of design variances. Like coldplate shape, tube/pump placement, stock...
Hey Wolf,
Just an FYI, your H100 has a 5 year warranty from us. Since you've only had it for 3 years, I suggest that you take advantage of your warranty and have that cooler replaced via RMA.
You can start the RMA request here, Corsair.force.com.
Hey Ominous,
Saw your post on the other forum and looks like you already got the answer there :) But to answer your question again, yes you will be able to SLI those cards in that case.
Agreed.. Matter of fact, that Bulldog 4K set up we have right now at Computex is pulling about a little over 400 watts while gaming (Titan X). So there's still plenty of headroom if you decide to overclock your CPU using a 600w PSU.
