Sorry, but I didn't mean to be inpolite. I just think, that easy questions like this could be answered very easily, if people would just learn to use google. And there's no sugar coating it, but opening a new thread is very unnecessary, put it how you want.
I'd actually prefer a really compact mATX case :). If there is ever another case from ncases, I hope it would be one, that would mop up the floor with the currently available.. Some are decent, but most are just way too large for what they offer. I want something like the M1, as small as...
Hm, I agree with you on that point, in the long run, it's ok to pay a little more, and get something nicer.
I still kinda prefer an ATX PSU, and for the same money as the Silverstone PSU I'm thinking of getting a good 2.5" harddrive :) It's really a hard choice, because both are good choices...
Ok, thank you for your response. Hmm, in my country, the non modular version of the sff silverstone is just 30$ cheaper. I mean, it's 30 bucks, but it's a big differance between 120$ and 60$, right? :)
Anyway, cheapest decent PSU is the Fractal Design, plus I like it's looks.
Still can't...
I had no luck finding an official announcement. No more than finding any news. Following the picture url, I did find a picture on fb. But no specs whatsoever. https://www.facebook.com/MSI.ComputerUS/photos_stream
Gentlemen! (I'd say Ladies too, but there are no women on the internet. ;) )
I need advice again. I grow very uncertain if I will receive my Silverstone from the vendor I ordered it. It has been delayed now for over 2 weeks.
So, it got me thinking: I know that the space is rare in the M1, but...
Ok, let's say more ore less in the middle. :D
Afaik ASUS Boards aren't a problem with Noctua Coolers, but you are right, it is a very inconvinient state.
I'm not particularly a fan of where the socket is located on the mainboard. Imho Noctua manufactures the best cpu heatsinks atm, but often they get in the way of the graphics card, if the socket isn't locacted where it should be - in the middle of the board..
Anyway, looks nice,and I hope...
Ok, this is my final build, at least for now. I plan on getting a 2.5" HDD with >750GB and 7200rpm, but I'll have to stick with my 3.5" for now. Hope everything will arrive before the LAN I attend this weekend. :)
√ Case: Ncase M1
√ CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K
√ CPU Cooler...
Oh, sorry, forgot to mention. :)
I am currently running it on stock speed and voltage with a Scythe Mugen (or Ninja, can't keep them apart, but the CPU stays very cool at low fan speed). Shame on me, but I was too lazy to look up how to overclock newer Intel CPUs and I haven't really had needs...
Not really. ;)
Well, the PSU of course is more or less at the same spot, but else that's the case in erery case. But I have yet to see a LianLi case with that none single-cube design.. ;)
@ Design:
I think you'd have massive problems with heat, because there isn't much room for decent...
What do you guys think? I still have a i5-2500K running in my System. I could reuse every part of it in the NCase, except CPU-Cooler, PSU (modular Seasonic) and obviously the Mainboard.
So I was thinking about getting a P8Z77-I Deluxe by Asus, because it fits the Noctua NH-C14 and is one of...
You do realize that Noctua advises against mounting the heatpipes upwards?

If I were you, I'd check temperature, maybe you're fine, but mayhaps you would run into problems.. ;)
Finally managed to register at hardforum!Yay!
Got mine last week already, was astouned! Quality is superb, I don't even mind the silver sockets in the silver version.
Unfortunatly I didn't expect it to be here before january, so I don't have enough cash lying around to buy new hardware. I...
Hmm I like this project! :) It's not what I need, but I have had a similar idea, but something more like the Alienware x51 (but with SFX PSU, so actually more similar to the SteamMachine prototype..), since I am more interested in using a full lenght GPU card. :) Will you also put the CAD Files...
