Just posted in the for sale section a FrozenQ Res (adamantiums). I ended up going with an h60 because of cost. I'm actually pretty happy with it so far. Would be nice to cut the tubes down of course- but I can't figure out how the hell it could be refilled...

I bought the FrozenQ (aka adamantium's) res on the second day they were offered. I had planned to do a custom loop in my M1 but went the simple, cheaper route of using an H60. The res is unused, still in package. Black acetyl. $80 shipped to buyer (Continental US). paypal.

The results you got make me think I should definitely invest in a crimper and try this for myself. Really nice job! I never would have considered customizing a cable set until seeing how much of an improvement it can result in.;)

Cables were more my worry. I figured I'd make a bracket for the base- adapting the 120 or 92mm holes to something like the LL rubber grommet slide mount holes; I have so much Lian Li here I could probably cut some mount out of something and make a sweet little bracket for the spot....

Asked this one before but I don't think I ever got a clear answer on it: Is it possible to mount on the bottom both a 3.5" drive(rear) and a 2.5" drive(front- in the spot where the renders show a 92mm fan used in conjunction with the 3.5" drive)?

Awesome link okwchin:) Surprising how well the Noctua's hold up in this test to the scythes and the noiseblockers. The p12 still looks like a great fan- but it's confusing whether pwm or straight dc is best for a rad. I've always assumed pwm, but I am relatively new to high end cooling :confused:

Are you going to go with the stock fan on the thermalright AXP-200 or replace with something like the Noctua NF-A15? Overclocking? I'm curious as to amount you could get with this heatsink and a better fan... So many good options makes me wish I had a second M1 coming just to try out coolers.;)

I'm going with the AD2 on a Gigabyte z77 wifi mb, ST30 (probably single 120 rad for cpu only), adamantiums res and probably a Gentle Typoon or Noiseblocker fan. I've stated loyalty to Noctua, and had my eye on the P12 PVM for my rad until WiSK turned me on to this review...

In that case, could one make new top and side panels for the psu that increases the depth from its current 63.5mm another 10mm to allow for a 25mm internal fan, or even thicker 32mm? Keeping in mind of course, maintaining allowance for 2 3.5" HDDs in the M1 cage... Not sure how much benefit...

I'm not surprised actually. This case has generated true excitement and the opportunity to buy it was just a small window.... all the while this discussion has continued, and anyone reading any part of it without a M1 order placed really has the potential to want it to the point where 4 or 5...

So the socket "pinout" is the same for a 1150 and 2011? This is news to me for sure- I've never seen a Xeon in person to compare. Does this mean that 32gb of ECC RAM is possible on an itx board as well?

Is there an itx MB that accepts a Xeon cpu?! I always thought that Xeon cpus are only usable on ATX or EATX motherboards.... Does this mean that you also have a MB in mind that supports more than 16 GB of RAM, and also fits the M1?

Has a HDD been fitted on the case floor under the psu side of the case? Would it be possible for a 3.5" hdd on the cpu side, and a 2.5" on the psu side, or visa versa? I understand the 3.5" and 92mm fan limitation- but it seems very close that in fact two 3.5" hdds could fit on the case...
