DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Look at these two builds and go for a bigger fan, thats what I'm planning to do when I'm taking my mobo off the next time. I don't know the results for that fan though... https://hardforum.com/threads/dan-a4-sfx-the-smallest-gaming-case-in-the-world.1799326/page-349#post-1043562021...

DAN C4-SFX: The smallest water cooling case in the world

dondan Are the feet about 10-11mm high? When you're testing temperatures in the case, could you test how much would it affect if the feet would have been 25mm high? If using a bottom rad I mean... Giving more space for it to breathe.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

https://www.sfflab.com/collections/ncase/products/ncase_m1_clips I think these are the same ones that has been used in A4-SFX, still listed only on Ncase M1 accessories. Maybe someone can confirm these are the same?

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Hi! That's a sweet build! Have you tested your temps with 92mm fan? And are you really getting better temps with those 120mm fans? I had bad result with the 120mm fan, but I had to install it offset to the cooler on my mobo... It looks like you have it lined in the center of the cooler, so you...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

I tested this with Bitspower fan adapter as a shroud. I had bad results with this combo, seems like the fan is still blowing most of the air past the heatsink and it doesn't cool CPU very well... Maybe with some different kind of shroud could give better results in cooling, but I think it's not...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

I don't know if it has ever been the best...? There were couple of coolers that were better then the L9i in Dans cooler test in the first post. AIO and LP53 should be the best options so far, but I think everybody is waiting for the DAN HSLP-48. Atleast I bought the LP53 cooler that I can use in...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

I once did that kind of cable, that I think you mean. I hadn't made any cables before. Just find enough info before you start and you can do it yourself. Although you might get better quality if you buy cables from somewhere. But I'm satisfied with the quality that I managed to get with my own...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yes, that should be fine. I had only 2 bends for my tubing, 1 from the GPU to the rad (in last picture) and 1 from rad to CPU (in first picture), and those bends weren't even really tight. Yes, the air goes towards the system, but it gets out from the top easily since the case is well...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I have those fans pushing the fresh air to the rad. And I used 10mm (3/8") ID, 16mm (5/8") OD tubing, I have been using this size tubing always, so I can't tell if some else is better. Yes, I have a full loop with GPU. I had before delidded 3570K so now my CPU temps feel too high for me...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I have 45mm rad and 7mm shrouds with normal 25mm fans and there was still some space to use. :D Not much but still some.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

With my measurements I couldn't find any top that would have fitted under the gpu, I think they add too much height for the pump. So I went for that and routed that tubing above the gpu. I have that same design Demciflex filter at the bottom too. (And one spare in the desk drawer :) ) And...

Finally have my build of M1 done, got it running last sunday. I changed the PSU fan, but it is still the making the most noise in my case... :( Some pictures of my build, sorry for bad quality, I don't have any good camera: http://imgur.com/grny4OJ I used that Swiftech microres at the back, with...

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

I was thinking that I take them completely off from the PSU end, so there would be 2 empty pins. Is that still ok?

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

Is it ok to leave those 2 extra pins off from the pci-e connector? I only need 2x6pins so that 2pin connector is useless to me...

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

Had to get that crimper when I made order from Nils. Next time will get his pin-remover too, this time I had Lamptron version, which is good too, but is already shoving marks of giving up... :D That is exactly what I was about to do to my PSU too. :D I mean that fan change and cutting that...

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

Today was my first day of crimping and sleeving and made even some progress: http://imgur.com/6NPddOa That 8pin was the practice piece and I made few mistakes in that but I'm comfortable with it. But that 24pin is more fun to do. I made those cables different lenght by pairs so it will sit...

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

Do you know how much does it effect on that v-droop? Maybe I put it there after all. Am I right that I have to make it that double wire way and I can't use that MB side pin 20 for that? I believe that pin had some meaning before but not anymore these days, if I remember right?
  21. F

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

Is there any need for that douple wire at all? I was thinking about leaving that pin 20 empty. Because I bought that Silverstone PP05 cable set, (so that I have extra set to check my wirings :D should have bought that tester...) and that set had no wire at all in that pin... And it is compatible...

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

I'm about to start sleeving this PSU and already have first question about it. Can I change the order of the wires in that 8pin EPS connector? I mean keeping all yellows at the "yellow side" and the blacks at the "black side". Hope somebody understands what I am trying to ask. :D Just asking...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Demcifilters arrived today to me: http://imgur.com/fNIurUT They are that old design and I bet the new design will be even better. I'm still fully pleased with these separate 120mm filters. Hopefully they get those filters to their site soon so everybody can enjoy them, they are so easy to clean.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Nah, I'm not following their site so active anymore, because I already have my filters coming from them. :D Today they arrived in Finland, should have them tomorrow or the day after. But my filters are that "old" design so I will be having two separate filters on the side... And I ordered the...

I see they didn't manage to get those filters on their site at this week. I was in direct contact with them before and they said that they were trying to get them to the site at friday. Well, I believe that they should show up there next week. Sorry for false information.

Got home from work. My case is #190 and it's looking good. Noticed some weird thing, this is actually a bit smaller than my present case: http://imgur.com/ssQJhVV :D The difference looks way bigger in real life than in that picture.

Finnish customs is asking who is the sender? Do I write there Wahaha360, Ncase or Lian Li? If I but Wahaha360 there then it's private person, but those else are companies. What does shipping label say as sender? Edit. It's Lian Li, it was on this paper from customs, didn't see it first...:)...

Oh, that makes sense then. Didn't know M4rks effort before. :) Definitely intrested on those Demcifilters, every mm is needed in the case. 1 in 1000 is closer if those cases that were ordered from ncases site get that badge too. :D

Really believe that you get case #0004? It's possible, but the odds... Like 1 out of 1000. Is it your lucky number or why are you waiting for that case #? :D I'm on the first early shipment list but I haven't got an email about the case being shipped. Hopefully get my email soon. :D
