Gaming PC build need feedback, VR ready GTX 1070 build

The motherboard you chose doesn't support overclocking, you need a Z170 motherboard for that. Same for memory speeds over 2133Mhz. I don't know if game design uses applications that benefit from multithreading, if so better step it up to i7 6700. Case is fine, you also have the node 304 form...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

This night I had a dream about the dan a4 already arriving! It was a nightmare because the case was made out of cardboard and it was huge! There was one silver aluminium panel in the box though, then I woke up! Spooky stuff..

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Wow, thanks for creating that so quickly! Geez Node 304 really is kind of huge! And to think that when I first got into computers I was set on getting the bitfenix prodigy :)

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

While we are all waiting till fall 2016, could someone with some nice autocad skills render a comparison between the Dan A4, node 304 and Ncase M1? These are the cases that I've owned in the past and curious about their relative sizes.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Just a little note to dondan I don't know if he'll see this but: the timeline on dan-cases.com says 08.05.2016-->case available on kickstarter. Shouldn't this be 29.05.2016? Or was it posted on kcikstarter then but not backable until today? Congratz again!

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Backed! Bounced back and forth between black and silver, but chose silver in the end. Because I always go for black :p Less visible dust and fingerprints will be nice for a change! Happy to have backed below the 125.000 $ goal, feels like I helped making this happen :p Congratz to DonDan...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hi guys I am planning my build finally after holding on to my v1 for 2 years :p I have an asus p8z77-i deluxe and I was thinking about the be quiet dark rock tf because it looks badass and should be cool and quiet for my 3770k. Will this fit? I saw some posts about it some time ago that it...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Wow, why did I never see this case before? I have bought the Ncase and it is beautiful but this case.. even smaller and more beautiful!! I don't need the extensive options in the Ncase, I just want a beautiful small case that will fit 1 GPU and an ssd, no space wasted. This case seems to do...

    Dell U2515H

No problem. Be sure to write some gaming experiences down here once you get her running full glory. Ah good to know the stand is solid. My current LG monitor looks nice but is flimsy as .... you know. Also no height adjustment and that is something I really miss.

    Dell U2515H

Can you guys give some more info about this monitor. How is the pixel density, does it look like its worth it for gaming? I currently have a 23 inch 1080p. Does the stand feel solid? Does it look premium? I can buy this for 312 euro! I

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Ah I thought that the 25 dollar option was for us residents only as it says us postal service. Stupid of me. In that case I will order one for sure as all other small reservoirs are still pretty big. Also what is the difference between frosted acrylic, and the acetal?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Guys I live in europe and wanted to get the custom Ncase reservoir but shipping cost alone is 100 dollars? How is this even possible? Other europeans interested in the reservoir?

NCASE M1 Softshell Carry Bag for community

I am interested as well in this and think 90 dollars is a fair price. However, how expensive is shipping to europe going to be or is it US only? I too want side bags to fit mice, cables and a TKL-60% keyboard.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Guys would a 240mm rad with fans be possible below a watercooled GPU? I saw a user named adamantium reporting that he uses 2 240mm rads with one at the bottom. Don't know if he/she runs it fanless though. This would be nice so you don't have the radiator in the way when you want to stare at your...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Would there be an advantage/disadvantage to make the air through a 240mm rad get pushed or pulled outside the case instead of inwards? So no hot air enters the case.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Does this rad has a built in reservoir? I like its price ,50euro. If it doesn't have a res built in, what external res do you use? I see people talk about a costum res made for the M1? Are there similar ones commercially available? So tubing size should be 1/8 of an inch smaller than the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hey guys. I am building a loop for the first time so I need lots of advice. I'll probably start a new thread because this one is getting ginormous and it gets kind of hard to get the info you want out of it. Anyway, I'm going with the apogee drive ii. What rad is recommended? Is it feasable to...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

That picture is awesome! This is one of the reasons why SFF builds are amazing. Did you carry it as hand luggage? I also have the asus dc2 670 and while it is quiet enough in my current case(node 304) I would like it to be even quieter. Especially in idle. So I was thinking about removing the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I have been doing some research and first I found this list: http://www.overclock.net/t/1256282/short-psu-list-atx-psus-that-are-160mm-or-shorter-small-case-friendly But I couldn't get a lot of them locally. But in addition to that list the corsair cx600 is also compatible with a long graphics...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I have an asus p8z77-i deluxe with low profile memory so I guess I won't have any compatibility issues according to the google docs spreadsheet. The price is kind of what is pushing me towards H220. I would order it on highflow.nl and the H220 is cheaper than the Apogee Drive ii. Only would...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I am thinking about cooling solutions and am debating full watercooling. I haven't watercooled before though. Now what would the advantage be of building a loop from the ground up with the apogee drive ii vs expanding the H220. They both use the same block/pump combo?

    Silverstone SST-ST30SF - semi-passive 300W SFX PSU

Would this pull a gtx 670 and 3770k stock with a molex to six pin adaptor? My setup only draws 250 watt from the wall gaming.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

So I am desperately searching for a 140mm deep ATX PSU with a quiet fan. How is the corsair cx series in the noise department? Are there any good alternatives? Silver stone has the strider essential series but they aren't even 80 plus bronze... I really don't want to use the noisy silverstone...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Wow great news! Now I don't care for the 550 watt, I just hope they fixed their idle noise of the fan... A man can hope. In case it isn't fixed, anyone knows of a silent 140mm deep non modular ATX PSU?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I'm not sure what you mean but the 670 has the decoder too and can use it for shadowplay just as well. 600 series and 700 series have the same features except for gpu boost 2.0.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

So is their any ATX PSU/GPU combo confirmed fitting the ncase m1? Cause I really don't want to deal with a high idle noise PSU. The asus 760 is apparently a cm too long. Maybe I'll saw off a piece of heatsink..

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

The keyword there is recommends as in make sure every crappy PSU of at least 500w advertised is able to run it along with 10 HDDs and a gazillion fans. The asus 760 only needs one 8 pin power connector so that is easily fixed with an adaptor. Together with the rest of my system I am sure it will...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Saw that review too. All I care is that it is dead silent in idle.. Thanks though! What would you pick? The silverstone or the be quiet( not looking at wattage).
  32. R

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Too bad. Thanks for the reply. And what about the be quiet sfx 350 watt as an alternative to the silverstone? Anyone has any experience with it on the noise department? I guess it will be plenty of juice for a gtx 760.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Are you asking about the parts in my node? You shall have them. Asus P8Z77-i deluxe- essential because the cpu socket is far away from the PCIe slot, so it can accommodate the NH-D14. The newer Z87 boards mostly adopted this feature as well. 3770k Noctua NH-D14 with one 120mm noctua...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Okay took another look at the case and it is beautiful. The panels mounting system is so simple and clean! The interior finish is amazing too! What is that piece of brown paper for by the way? Polishing your case? It is a fingerprint magnet indeed, washing my hands before I play around with it...

Opened the box just now, the outer packaging if the case is well done! I must say seeing the case for the first time, I like it, it is so light! The aluminium is awesome. But you can literally see through because of the holes. It bothers me a bit. Maybe it will be different when filled up...

What will your M1 build contain!?

Inno 3D sells the awesome reference cooler and EVGA also has a blower of their own. Not worth it IMO unless they are much cheaper than aftermarket.

Lol, got a message from my mom that a mysterious box was delivered with my name on it... Could this be the Ncase already? I live in Belgium by the way. I'm staying at a dorm during the week. Excited to go home this weekend. Am I the only one from Belgium that ordered a case by the way? Didn't...

Interest in Seasonic modular, fanless/semi-fanless SFX PSU? are you buying NCASE y/n?

We don't need fanless or platinum. Just a decent unit with a silent fan. At least in idle.
