NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Mini-DTX is actually already supported, so it should fit in theory. I have V1 of this case and have my eye on this new ROG Impact. Im more concerned about that I/O though...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I just wanted to check in because I was a little surprised by the lack of Vega posts. I've had mine for a couple of weeks, but I've been traveling and really haven't had the chance to use it. Long story short, I have a V1 NCase with the same 450W PSU from Silverstone. I'm running a custom loop...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

You read my mind with the Radeon logo, but without official measurements, I wasn't sure. I'm expecting it to not fit bit I hope it does. I've asked EK for the true measurement, so I'll report back once I hear from them. Nice build btw too

I meant fit in the case. I know it'l fit the card ;)

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I have my Vega on the way as well. Plan to just run it in powersave/standard mode since the wattage is much better and people don't really understand how PSU's work anyway. Assuming you have the EK block on the way? Do we know if it will fit? Thats my question

Waiting for VEGA. Am I alone?

I mean, Algrim already proved you wrong, but I will too. From the AMD earnings call on Jan 19th, 2016 Lisa Su - "In client computing, our opportunities to regain share in 2016 will be driven by our design win momentum, continued progress expanding into the commercial market, and reentering...

Waiting for VEGA. Am I alone?

I have a 3440x1440 ultrawide freesync monitor that I was thinking about waiting until Vega for, but then I just grabbed a 480 and water block instead. I was coming from a GTX 680, so it's a good upgrade. If you have a Fury, I'd say wait for sure! Vega won't be out until sometime next year...

    EK Waterblocks + Predator 360 + XFX 480s

Nice OC! I have the EK block on my 480 as well, but I'm at 1370/2125 with the stock bios. I've thought about flashing the asus one, but was hoping for a breakthrough on the bios modding soon. I have QB as well, but have yet to re-install and test it. How's the performance?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Is everyone ready to see one of the first M1's with dual GPU's? Feast your eyes! I never said both were connected and functioning :D I'm currently testing a RX 480 and freesync. Freesync is pretty cool but I've had water cooling for years now. This thing throttles pretty bad in here and...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

At first I thought it'd be possible if you went with something like the Apogee Drive II pump/block? I have that and I think it's great. However, I think you'd need to downsize to a 2.5" mechanical hard drive if you want it to work though. Or being it's 2016, use a NAS or network storage :D

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

The M1 and the Evolv are 2 very different cases. Every post I've seen that mentions the Evolv, fails to mention the Evolv is almost triple the size of the M1. Besides...what's the fun in easy? You'll appreciate the M1 more if you go that route and finish the build. This thread is 500+ pages and...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I was just shopping the same thing a couple of months ago with rads. I went with the GTS as well and I'm quite happy. OC'd 4790k and GTX680 and I'm into the upper 60's with my temps while stress testing. The 6700K will run cooler than that so you should not have any problems

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I don't disagree at all with returning the 980ti for a 1080, but reviews are showing that 980 sli's are faster (let alone 980 ti sli's) in most games/applications Water for life for me as well. Its been quite awhile since I've posted in here but I'm on the OG V1 Ncase and I'm a full water loop...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I'm running a 680 (older 770) and I'll run Intel's Burn Test and Furmark at the same time for 30 min. My 4670k stays a bit under 50C and my 680 thats oc'd and bios moded stays under 55C. it's dead quiet. Not silent, but if you have any sort of volume going through a video/game/music it will be...

Who has picked up a H220?

Dont now why I didnt quote my old post but I read a trick to drop some water inside of the inlet of the pump before hooking it up. After doing that I was able to successfully bleed it within a couple of minutes. It could have something to do with a new pump revision too? But beforehand it'd...

Who has picked up a H220?

Well, good news. Finally got my new H220 pump last week and it's working great. Only problem was that it took 7 weeks to get the replacement. Ugh. Regardless, I'm still fairly satisfied and the new pump is great

Nice. What are your load temps?

Who has picked up a H220?

Here's my story. 1 nice thing is that I heard from them last night and they gave me a discount good for 6 months on my next order due to the fact I'm still waiting. Didn't even ask for anything, but maybe they saw my post in the M1 thread? Nice to see them step it up a bit

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yeah, hence another reason I'm worried. Not just the quality but getting the thing in the first place. Seems kind of expensive for a small res but I understand the small demand I did the mod and it's great. No clicking or anything like that

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yeah, I dont really have too many good things to say about Swiftech and the H220 right now. I've had a dead pump for 2 weeks, and sent my original email asking for a RMA on Feb 2nd. I even had to follow up multiple times to get a response sometimes. Last they told me they were waiting on parts...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I know the screws on the H220 arent all that great, but after taking mine in and out a few times, this most recent time I just finger tightened them since theyre similar to a thumb screw. My temps are great and I didnt have to torque them down ultra tight. Try that. if it works, im curious...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hmmmm...interesting. I'm assuming the fittings were more of an issue with the board itself? I'm running the AsRock and there's quite a bit of room there. I'm trying to keep things internal and not have to use the outer res. Not to mention the price since I've already dropped $$$ on the H220...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I'm really thinking about just getting an Apogee Drive. How'd you mount your pump though? With the long barbs from the pump, it make tubing routing fairly tough

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Update from the past 2 weeks. Turns out it was my H220. Then thing was stuck wide open at 100%. i was just dealing with it until the RMA could show up. Two issues now. 1. Swiftech is out of H220 pumps so they're waiting on parts and 2. the pump died on me over the weekend. It still functioned...

    Asrock Z87E-ITX

I even downgraded the BIOS to make sure. Nothing. As you know, with the H220, the cable is nicely sleeved and in great shape. So no problems there. On the oher hand, the H220 doesnt run too bad with 1 fan on full blast and the other one off to help with noise :D

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yep. CPU header = stuck at 100%. Chasis fan = working but is voltage vs PWM. Dont think I'm going to bother RMAing it right now since I have a fan controller on the way
  28. L

    Asrock Z87E-ITX

Yeah, very sure it's not set to 100%. It's been working great for quite awhile, but now wont adjust at all as of this am :(
  29. L

    Asrock Z87E-ITX

I can verify this as well. No problems I also posted this in the M1 thread but my cpu header yesterday went out and seems to be stuck at 100%. I thought maybe using the chasis fan header and the H220 splitter would work but like you mentioned, it's running 100% no matter what. So maybe tread...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Today isnt off to a good start... Once I got up this am and turned on my cpu, my H220 pump was stuck maxing at 100%. Long story short, looks like my cpu header has gone semi-bad and is stuck at 12v but the fan header still works correctly. Tried old BIOS, BIOS reset, etc. Whats even better is...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I'm a H220 with a gpu loop. My 4670k is only at stock and my HD6870 is running a slight oc but Idle = 30-31C Load = 48-50C No other fans in the system and it's silent

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Getting the air out of the H220 was one of the most difficult things I have ever accomplished. It did take me a few hours. Lots of power cycles because you can get the bubbles into the rad, but the res doesnt always refill them. Quite frustrating

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yeah, cable management is basically non existent with this. I pinned the 24 pin and the 8 pin mb cables between the psu and the mb. This shows it a bit better. Although I dont have the usb front header installed yet in this pic Problem is, there's pretty much no room behind the mb and...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Just the stock ones that come with the case. I had to use 4 long screws from the H220 to mount the GT's, and 4 fan screws to mount the filters to the bracket. Otherwise I didnt have a screw long enough to mount the bracket, filter, fan, and rad (would've multi quoted earlier if I noticed the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

1850's. Totally silent when running anything under 12v. Even at full blast, it just has a bit of a "windy" sound vs the stock helix fans. Definitely much quieter, without a doubt. The build is what I'd consider totally silent. Just the slightest little "tick" from the H220 pump. The psu fan...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Done! Took awhile and the H220 still sucks to bleed. Went with 2 Gentle Typhoons as replacements too AsRock z87, Crucial M500, HD6870, Silverstone PP05-E wires Went with a msata disk to lessen a couple of wires. Fairly clean in there and room for air

It doesnt really matter when mine shows up anymore. Im in Michigan and we got hammered with an ice storm this weekend. Over 100k of us without power and it wont be back on until after XMas for many of us. Tough to put a cpu together in the cold and dark :( Nice to see some of these builds...
