well been just over a year with my 4 Dell 3014 and two U2711 monitors. Thinking I might swap out the four 3014's with 4k but would hate to lose size. Hoping they continue to come down in price.. SOON

Hi there just found this thread. Lots of great info. I see a lot of talk about the 39 and 50 for modded firmware and settings. What about the 55. I just got this about a week ago and still in the return window. Does anyone have the 55 and been able to mod the firmware?

Well I figure if I can get $500 each for my 4 U3014 and $350 each for my 2 U2713H that should just about pay for 80% of replacing them with 6 of these.

well looks like 4k is finally in my future. 28 inch 4k monitor announced today at CES. $700 price range. Would love 30 inch but close enough. going to replace my six monitors when they come out

ok well maybe I spoke to soon. It installed and no more error message but the driver version still seems older. The driver in the device manager is dated 6/6/2013 and shows version 13.150.0.0

OMG FINALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I uninstalled the c++ and it worked. GOOD LORD. thank you all for being patient with me and helping.

question: what is the name of the driver file I am looking for if I navigate from devices so I can try and update the driver manually?

well I have tried every which way to get the beta drivers installed but no go. I guess I am stuck with 13.4 for now...... ridiculous I cant figure this out

Driver fusion is an uninstaller that cleans out anything the AMD cleaner does not. I will give this a try. Again its not the end of the world but completely odd why I cannot get these to install properly.... thanks everyone

I even tried to install the 13.8 from guru over the existing and the second I click on CCC, boom I get that same message that I posted above. Insanity.....

well I went through the whole steps again. I used the AMD cleaner, then driver fusion. I then installed the 13.8 package and when I click on the control panel, I get the same result that I posted earlier. I am not an idiot around computers but this is simply odd. If I use the amd cleaner...

to my understanding the 13.8 is just the driver, not the full catalyst control panel (or am I reading that wrong)

so the 50 is on sale for 869 until the end of the month. very tempted but I hear so many varying comments about they love it or hate it. Man what to do.........

I have tried the AMD Uninstall Utility followed by Driver Fusion then installed the 13.4 suite then the beta driver and still get the same bloody result........grrrrrrrrr

ok so I tried both express and custom and get the same result.....

so when I go to install the beta driver, do you use express or custom

its weird when I install this it kills my Catalyst control center as if its no longer installed?

I thought there were a fix via beta drivers from nvidia that allowed the Seiki to run a 60hz? Let me see if I can find it.

no the four U3014 all are running at 2560x1600. the Eyefinity 6 I got allows that.

ok more pics tomorrow. And thats windows 8 doing backgrounds which change every 10 seconds. I never know whats going to pop up next :)

Visiontek 7870 eyefinity 6. Has 6 individual displayport out's Only way it could be accomplished without going to a 7990 and spending twice the money. Appreciate the compliment

Well I have decided to add two more monitors......for a total of 6. two 27 inch dell in portrait will flank the 30 inch dells. I just have to find a bloody video card that will work..... Updates soon

oh I should mention the mount is a Chief KTG445. Its a grommet mount. I went with a 42 inch bar which was too high but works. the 36 inch bar is more than enough
