NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Hehe, no problem, you seem to have done a brilliant job anyway! I just wish i'd have saw your post sooner. Any excuse to open the thing up. Thanks :) It's a Noctua LH-N9i Noise is absolutely fine, can't hear a thing with it sat under my desk. fans are pretty much silent at idle. As you can...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Well, I've taken my version1 apart more times than I care to count in the past few days, so I thought i'd document today's effort after seeing your post :) Should help you figure out how to place it together if you still are interested. http://imgur.com/a/XPZ0q **I'm so sorry for the gore I...

NCASE M1 picture and build general log

@Sithsolo1 I think i'll probably revert my fans to the "inside"(as seen in your pic), rather than the outside. I'm not convinced it's good for the cables to be as kinked as they are in my build, even if the temperatures are stable. Here's a few teaser pictures(before I actually do some proper...

I didn't dare turn the pc on with it kinked like that, so I can't tell you what the temp ranges were at using that setup. But yeah, if you're experienced enough to build your own, I would recommend it, otherwise use the "spiral" method necere stated earlier in the thread.

So, finally got settled in one place and had chance to mess about this afternoon. Dug out an actual camera instead of using my potato-phone and tried out all of the physically possible variations that the H100i could be placed at inside the case. And who would have thought it, Necere was right...

Haha, that chinese rip off is literally a Bitfenix Prodigy, just using M1 panels. Same size, same inside layout(mobo on raised floor, cpu below, HDD cage next to mobo, "frontpanel" on the left hand side of the case. Quite literally amusing. Never cease to be amazed by what they can do over there.

This is the only reason I haven't done it yet, i'm afraid :P However, if no one else has done it in the next couple of days, I guess I could disassemble my build and give it a try for you Grazina. And just for everyone wanting a better picture of the tightness with the H100i,** The build now...

Posted it in the other thread. Simple answer: H100i is not being utilized in my build. Longer answer: a) It''s an extremely tight fit, with the tubing being squashed against the PSU. b) Currently, and for the forseeable future, I don't need to overclock my build to the point that any amount...

Here's my build album. Fully complete with terrible cable management courtesy of the finest Transpore tape via my potato-camera. Planning on replacing the H100i with an L9i, and currently having a custom PSU cable set built. so will be re-building it when they both arrive.

So, seeing as though Necere himself quoted me, I felt as though I should at least reply to acknowledge that, and subsequently thank yourself and everyone involved for this absolutely amazing case.(signed up 6months ago but didn't have posting priviledges). I would try flipping the cooler round...
