Agreed. The system I had for him is a g3258 acer tower, but it seems like it goes to sleep and then won't wake up after until you hard power down. I had it running fine for days until it went to 'sleep' and he's absolutely not tech savvy so I don't want him having to deal with the BS too much.

as per the title ISO an inplace upgrade for my sister. She currently is running a g3258 which I would be willing to trade. Doesn't need to be unlocked, but I would say quad core minimum. might entertain getting some hard drives 5tb+ certainly someone would rather have some cash for the holidays...

I'm only a tiny bit worried, seems solid(ish) and pretty easy to install. Make sure you have a spot for the radiator tho, it's big. Don't have measures in place, but have home owners insurance in a worst case scenario.
