It's kind of like buying a car that advertises 400 hp, and then you later find out it really only has 350 hp. It still goes just as fast, but they still lied to you.
You don't drive for a few days, or the car sits idle for a while.. hop in "Please hold while wireless updates begins... Estimated update time 4 hours 14 minutes 22 seconds"
Damn, looks like I'm walking today.
Interesting "concept" but at $150.. no way. You can buy a nice desk for $150, made from wood and metal. Or, if you're a bit of a handyman, you can build a beautiful custom made standing desk with that money.
Probably because Apple is stepping away from LCD displays for their next iPhone. Welcome to OLED Apple; I know how you said you never would, but... you're not one for principals.
Employing 150,000 people! Only if we could have huge manufacturing projects like that in the USA; the biggest one on the horizon seems to be Tesla's battery plant but that will employ 6500 people.
Nice design, but pricey. Add in the premium vendors like to charge for mITX boards, and you end up with an overpriced system... but hey, at least it's mITX :p It still amazes me there are so few FM2 mITX boards, and the few that ARE out there are twice the price of the LGA1150 mITX boards. The...
Pricing must be different here in Canada, because the R9 290X cards are going for $580 + usually a $30 mail in rebate, whereas the cheapest 780 ti I can find it are $650 + $30 rebates; I see Nvidia is certainly trying to drive their prices down, but they still aren't cheaper than the 290X's at...
I tried it for the free weekend; and was thoroughly unimpressed. Plus it's EA/Origin, so when you buy the game, you essentially buy a demo, and then have to keep paying for more and more DLC if you want to stay current.
Since the price of the printers has fallen so much, it would be nice to see the price of the printing material (ABS, etc) fall as well; but right now it's $30-40 per pound for the plastic printing material! So you want to print a 100 gram beer mug holder, that just cost you $10 in material + time
All these tablets have Bluetooth, so you just use a wireless earpiece if you don't want to hold a device up to your ear. Heck, you can get a Tegra K1 tablet for $300 with 3G built-in direct from China these days for $250. Yet people are still spending big money on contact phones... silly people.
The largest expense for most is real estate. The richer states tend to have more expensive rent/mortgages, whereas the poorest ones have cheaper houses
I think the difference here is, if they CAN build such a working transportation system; that would boost America on the world stage again. The USA has fell behind in many aspects, especially modern transportation. Japan/China/Europe all have high-speed rail. Japan with it's maglev tech. Europe...
Since there are over 35,000 deaths per year from auto accidents per year in the USA alone, I'm sure that out of the 100 fatal crashes per day, a few of those involve splitting in half, but we generally don't broad cast them all over the National news and make a huge deal about it. Oh no, it's a...
It might be hard to track them, but as soon they start acting on any of those threats, the police/fbi or whoever could locate them in a matter of days.
I think it'll be a while for me to update my PC for 4K. I'm using three 40" televisions at the moment, and running things at high frame rates is painful at 5870X1080... I can only imagine the power I would require to run 12288X2160 resolution
lol, and probably with a stupid cap... like 200 gigabytes, and you'll be able to reach the cap in 27 minutes.
I recently went for slower internet, without a cap. From 250Mbps down to 50Mbps. Life is much better, I download so much more.
They're just lumping all their estimations together to say "we lost this much in tax dollars!" essentially. Cybercrime covers just about everything.. from MPAA, to the movie industry, to hacked data, etc.
Nice, Rockchip makes some cheap processors that are pretty decent these days. I just got a cheap $70 quad core with an RK3188 in it, and it's very fast and quite impressive for the price. If they can create dirt cheap x86 cores, with reasonable speed, and throw them on the under 9" Windows 8.1...
I'll admit, these games can be pretty fun. Titanfall could be enjoyable for a bit. So is Battlefield 4.. However, I'm not fan of buying the base game.. then 3 weeks later having to buy a DLC, then another.. and another.. and another. If I'm paying $60 for a game, I want the whole game.
WhatApp at 19 billion is a foolish purchase. That being said, BBM isn't worth anywhere near that as well. Facebook is a terrible investment.. if your vested, sell; if your not; short.
