Another vote for the Swifts image quality. Its one of the best monitors I have looked at in a world of VA and IPS monitors. Only the viewing angles let it down for me.

As long as they stick to releasing drivers quarterly that can be downloaded from the website I can live with that. Along with the hotfixes. I recently upgraded to a 980 Ti and it broke Gsync. Without the latest hotfix I was getting worse performance than the 780 it replaced.

This is the same as the Razer cloud based driver crap. Really only benefits them and not the user. Really pissed off with nVidia about some of the decisions they have made with their drivers recently.

His monitor looks decent, no noticeable backlight bleed or obvious glow. BTW Battlefronts environments look photo realistic :p

The XL2720Z on the desktop is a bit fugly. It does very well with pictures and photo's though. In games it really shines and provides a great image (after you have spent 5 mins twiddling knobs and such) and its low DPI does not interfere with the image quality too much in the area of gaming.

Its mad how the Swift came along and shifted the perception of TN panels up a notch or two. Its something you would genuinely consider. Even next to 144hz IPS variants.

Those reviewers must be tripping on acid or have some serious visual impairment as I have tried that XL2411T and it indeed sucks seriously hard. Anyone that values any iota of image quality should avoid that sack of shit. You had a look at the Viewsonic VG2401mh? Not had any first hand...

120Hz @ 1920x1080 with a quality VA panel would be a interesting proposition to any PC gamer.

The XL2720Z I received from Amazon had excellent build quality but a very minor scratch on the casing. Nothing to make a big deal about and I sent it back because I wanted a Swift but it would not put me off purchasing a Benq monitor in the future. I actually think they make very good monitors.

Love to find out how many of them was returned. Just hang on a bit. BenQ Have a 1440 144Hz TN coming out. A few other monitors with 144Hz IPS will be out this year.

There are better monitors than the FG2421 and there are more to come out this year. The PG278Q set the bar high and is more consistent in image quality unit to unit (teething issues aside at release). That FG2421 is too much of a risk to bother with.

Does not mean this will be delayed. The Swift's panel was deigned from the ground up for the Swift in mind for a start. This AUO IPS panel has been announced for quite a while now.

Yup, the announcements of these 144Hz IPS flavours has kinda veiled the interest in this for me. Still a nice option to have though for someone who wants ultra low response times and high resolution.

Some serious desktop love coming out this year. Desktop Broadwell, Windows 10, lots of choice of LCD monitors coming. GSync 4K IPS, 120Hz 1440P IPS, Ultra Wide 144Hz monitors, 24" monitors with 4K and 2560x1440 resolutions for those pixel fiends. Its all really good shit!
