our db server has been in a vm while we're still in development and there have been talks of keeping it a vm after we go into production.
I don't really like the idea :P I think it should be a seperate box mainly for speed reasons. Its normally recommended that you keep your sql server on...
Just like title says diNova Edge $69.99 shipped after MIR. This is one awesome keyboard :)

There's a sale going on amazon for blu-rays buy 2 get 1 free. Their prices are already pretty competive for blu-ray so this helps a bit more.
Amazon.com
yeah pretty much what kumquat said. If you have owned one of these remotes you know what the fuss is about they're awesome. Just read the amazon reviews of them.
So I'm really sad that HD-DVD lost the war, but for those of us with HD-DVD players now is the time to get some good deals :)
Anyway here is Amazon selling the Bourne Trilogy set for $30

And then...
So, long story short I had a laptop stolen about a week ago. This was an alienware laptop that I purchased a little over a year ago.
I'm looking to see how the M64 ML-44 compares to the processors on its laptops now, so I can hopefully have a higher insurance check then what they want to...
I just want to point out that you're not limited to the functionality in these systems at all. Both have api's that if your willing to look into will make making plugins fairly simple. And both are open source and written in php meaning you're not limited at all. You can take what you want...
I see in the source its the same junk
Use this stuff instead
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_XML_and_HTML_character_entity_references
for those weird characters, or I would also assume if you somehow change the language to spanish that it would do this for you? But I have...
This code really needs to be cleaned up but I wanted to see how fast I could do it, took me around 10-15 min :P
<head>
<style type="text/css">

if anybody cares a good resource to help you with joins that I use all the time is this link.
Makes them really easy to understand as anything besides a inner join and a left outer join always confuse me :P
http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000976.html
Does mysql support case statements? You could do this without case statements to give you 2 columns but one will be null....depending on where it is getting the column from so you have this.
SELECT a.id, b.id FROM table1 a
FULL OUTER JOIN table2 b
ON a.id = b.id
WHERE b.id IS...
yeah you could do
SELECT DISTINCT id
FROM table
WHERE id
NOT IN (SELECT DISTINCT id from table2)
edit: NM this will only give you distinct ones that arent in table2, gimmie a sec I'll come up with something better.
You can stream through xp media center also
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909536/en-us?sd=xbox
and its always going to be doing everything on the computer with media center, the 360 can only act as an extender.
I'm so confused. It would be easiest if you just said what domain you're looking for but I understand why you wouldn't want to. Anyway just plug that domain name in here http://www.whois.net and see if its registered. It should tell you who its registered and when they registered it.
like a wysiwyg editor? There are plenty of already packaged software that'll do this stuff for you depending on your task that you can customize, but if you're talking about doing everything visually than that'd be tough.
Civ 4 Gold is being sold for $19.99 from amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000RHFZTM/0076-20
If you haven't played civ 4 than you don't know what you're missing. This game is awesome and best in the series if you ask me :)
What are you using this for? I don't really consider Wordpress a CMS, its more just a blogging tool.
A CMS I consider to be something that a lot of people will be contributing too. It includes a lot of stuff that a blogging tool wouldn't, like files, media, documents, and web content...
hahahaha. Really? Is it really just to save you a couple of key strokes?
Theres also a ton of gallery apps already out there. But anyway to answer your question
You're going to have to explain a little bit more :P I'm thinking you just want to automatically show whatever you want to link to? But I don't really understand why, is this to save you from typing like the name of the filename once? I'm sure you have a purpose and knowing that would help...
if you want to make an auto increment field then it shouldn't be editable, in fact you would have to change some table settings if it was a real auto increment field. This is by design because usually you'll use this type to join other tables too and you don't want it changing.
That being...
oh yeah and I was saying you can do INSERT INTO [table] VALUES (value1, value2,...)
After just quickly looking over your query I'm not sure why it wasn't working for your imdb column. In the future I would suggest just echoing your sql line out
before even trying to insert just to...
oh man I just typed a nice reply and accidently hit the button anyway here is the quick version change this
to this
Also just to be safe change this
to this
to fight nice little sql injections. otherwise somebody could post
and that wouldn't be good :P
edit: this is all...
Of course, but I was assuming he can trust the data, if he doesn't want to see the result he could easily just add a where clause,
WHERE [NETWORKPATH] LIKE '\\%\%'
if he wants to get an error for that row instead he could do
SELECT CASE
WHEN PATINDEX('\\%\%', [COLUMN]) = 1 THEN...
Just because I'm on a sql kick, here is the answer in just a select to avoid using a proc. I tested with MSSQL not sure with Mysql. And it'll only work with UNC path's like the examples you gave..
SELECT SUBSTRING([NETWORK_PATH], 3, PATINDEX('%\%', RIGHT([NETWORK_PATH]...
