    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

Interesting information in regards to the "Wide color gamut" being less accurate; it appears I have some reading to do. Given that both the Auria and Monoprice both have 1.07 billion color reproduction, I have noticed a few differences: AURIA - CCFL lighting, slightly slower response time...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

Much appreciated; the monoprice appears to be techinically superior in many regards to the Auria (Displays more colors, for one): http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=113&cp_id=11307&cs_id=1130703&p_id=10489&seq=1&format=2 This comes at a slight price increase but I'm willing to...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

I know you guys probably don't know, but I figured I'd ask anyway; I noticed the Auria is out of stock. http://www.microcenter.com/product/384780/EQ276W_27_IPS_LED_Monitor Am I screwed on getting one (This is a permanent "out of stock"), or does this happen frequently? UPDATE: Apparently...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

A good point; nobody I've heard of has complained about a worn out CCFL monitor. It seems I was ill-informed if what you say is true. I suppose it does come down to preference but for what I'm paying for the monitor, I'm hardly in a position to complain. Thanks.

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

So apparently two things have changed about this monitor since its emergence on the market 1) It's matte now, no longer glossy 2) It's CCFL, not LED Point 1 doesn't bother me at all, but CCFL is a significant step backwards, given it's old technology. Putting the reason aside, doesn't...

    Recommendations for 27 inch monitor?

Interesting find, and I appreciate bringing this to my attention. I'm okay with matte over glossy, it doesn't really make a difference to me. Interesting that the monitors went backwards and now use CCFL, which is older than LED. This does affect my purchase because I'm pretty certain CCFL...

    Recommendations for 27 inch monitor?

Mostly gaming/general web surfing/occasionally work. I'm aware that a GTX 660 ti 3gb is not up to snuff to max things out at that resolution; I'd definitely have to make sacrifices (Lower the resolution, turn off anti-aliasing, etc.) but even just for the screen real estate I feel it's worth it...

    Recommendations for 27 inch monitor?

I see.... I have a gtx660TI, the factory overclocked one from GALAXY with 3gb of RAM. The warranty is a bit of a big one, so it's a bit of a gamble. I'm well aware that I'm likely going to be constrained by my video card in more demanding games at the resolution the catleap outputs at, so that...

    Recommendations for 27 inch monitor?

Hey guys, title says it all; I'm interested in best bang for my buck on a 27 inch monitor. Before I did any research, I ended up finding this monitor by LG: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005369 Sure, it's only 1080p, but from what I've deduced, if I want a...
