By your logic consoles prove that 2 ghz Jaguar core is "good enough" for gaming and that more CPU performance is "lol irrelevant posts".
But what does one expect from AMD's shill army that reposts the same talking points from AMD Shill HQ every time threads reach a new page.
Exact same...
"Reviewers", aka sponsored advertising, use Cinebench because they are paid to use Cinebench.
If they didn't use Cinebench they risk not getting "review samples", aka free stuff, from the manufacturer that demands Cinebench usage.
Cinebench is a "benchmark" of an obsolete 2010 version of a GPU...
Lol, the very AMD shills that made up the issue in the first place purposefully to prompt the lawyers to sue are now telling people (the class) that the only people to blame is themselves when the lawyers stole almost all of the money.
And people making 10 cents per post shilling for AMD...
You really don't get it do you?
Corporations are not your friend.
Everything they say is a self-serving lie until proven otherwise.
Any information you don't have to pay 100% for means you are the product that the person "giving" the information to you is selling.
Not sure what fantasy-land...
AMD has always preferred to invest first in advertising tricks and last in actual engineering and development.
AMD sold tons of FX-8150s as well to people dumb enough to believe their lies, the same cycle is replaying today.
Even the dumb-asses that buy the advertising tricks at first realize...
Look closer, most of them say nothing more than "Intel sucks buy Ryzen".
And almost all of them are from the first 2-3 days.
For your theory to even remotely have a chance to be true, they would be more focused on that topic as well as more dispersed in time.
Most of them were also deleted...
Hilarious that 33% of the "reviews" are from AMD's infamous shill hoard even after they deleted most of them.
Scratch that, 38%, had to check the other "star" ratings other than 1 and they are all AMD shill posts, absolutely hilarious.
Delta screamer with a super deep desktop style tower cooler.
That's some insane cooling capacity right there, considering your chips are only rated at 150W TDP each.
Testing IMC and RAM stability is a PITA.
If you lower either of those you will have to do extensive IMC and RAM stability testing and then regression testing every time you change any RAM setting afterwards.
Not worth the effort IMO.
I highly recommend against getting any 1440p monitor that is smaller than 27 inches.
It's the same problem with people using 4k monitors smaller than 40 inches.
Having super high PPI for PC simply wastes compute power to render what you cannot fully see.
A 23.8 inch 1440p monitor has the same...
A 24 inch 1440p monitor is completely pointless unless you have 20/20 vision or better and can see pixels on a 27 inch 1440p monitor at normal viewing distance (Not aliasing, i'm talking about actual pixels).
27 inch 1440p monitors already have the same PPI of a 20.25 inch 1080p monitor...
8gb ram should be enough if i dont have anything in the background, right ?
Depends on the game, check this site for full info about main memory usage:
http://gamegpu.com/
the 1070 will be bottlenecked by 4570
That's absolutely true, however, 4790k should be about equal to 8400.
CPUs that...
Not only that, 8 gB of main memory is already a bottleneck for some games, and it will only get worse later (and even worse if you are running anything at all other than the game in the background.)
Until you can save up for at minimum 16 gB of DDR4 + 8600k, it's an absolute waste of money to...
You will have to ask someone else about that, I haven't been up to date on any of the manufacturer warranty changes since the advent of the current crypto-boom.
Complete lack of warranty.
Generally, warranties only apply if you purchased a product "new" from a retailer.
A sale through ebay means you are buying your item on "ebay" and therefore doesn't count as a retailer (generally).
The specifics will be determined by what you are required to submit...
The less well optimized a workload is, the more benefit hyper-threading gives.
Since almost all AAA games are optimized to the crappy jaguar core with gimped AVX, games that scale linearly with cores give very high hyperthreading scaling on 8700k.
None of those increases would increase costs by very much at all.
And to your previous example, you can get cat 7 cables for not much more than the cost of cat 5 cables.
The cost is almost all in the change in tooling, everything else is simple.
The high cost of things like SFP+ is due to...
I'm simply talking about them thinking it is absolute heresy to add more copper wires to the cable, a design change that costs almost nothing in general, where the increase in cost is basically just the increase in the per ton cost of copper you are adding to the cable.
Enjoy your 10 cents per post :D
I'm not re-posting an essay every time the thread goes to a new page (You will simply get your shill buddies to mass spam report it to get it deleted anyways).
I just have to wait a few years when the budget to fund you people is gone (due to bankrupt AMD cost...
Have fun trying to have it both ways, claiming it's "the same" and then claiming it's "different" despite the fact that the only ones making definitive claims were the AMD shills and the only ones who were sure of themselves were the AMD shills.
You don't get to rewrite history, the best you...
"Visually lossless" is a meaningless term. People called mpeg2 "visually lossless" and terms like that as well. People called 4:2:0 "visually lossless" and terms like that as well.
At best, DSC will be a deterministic compression algorithm, which works at the packet level.
At worst, DSC will...
Repeat the mantra in your head. If it isn't going in laptops, it's not coming in the "mainstream line" Core CPUs.
Desktop 8700k sales are a drop in the bucket, they made the chip for those sweet sweet 6 core 12 thread laptop sales.
Also, don't believe any roadmap that AMD shills tell you about...
#1, DSC is a kludge, #2, the ones that are announced so far do not support DSC afaik.
There's also no guarantee that DSC won't have additional latency attached to it's use.
All systems that have a remotely accessible layer that is lower level than the OS have NSA backdoors.
This is common knowledge.
This includes all network connected "management engines" as well as most high end network equipment sold by US vendors (Cisco etc.).
NSA also has master keys for the...
They're all going to suck until Displayport 1.5?2.0? and/or HDMI 2.1 are actually implemented. Considering the next Displayport standard isn't even a thing yet and that HDMI 2.1 is tentatively going to be finalized in December, you have a long wait in front of you if you want a product that...
People always lie about OCs, it's simply how it goes.
However, this also extends to people's lies about OCs on previous chips.
14nm++ improvements are real.
Lol, always people linking to "articles" that use literally threads like this as sources :p.
Clickbait at it's finest.
No point in bothering to read most of the "content" that sites crib directly from forums.
