EQ has so many memories and nostalgia. Norrath is literally where I grew up (yeah, I might be a massive dork). I refuse to go back though, as I know the game couldn't have aged that well compared to modern MMOs and I don't want to ruin my perception of the game from 2004.

Also, another big issue with newer FF games is the voice-overs. It's so awkwardly delayed, I'm not sure if that's how it was designed or if its because of English translation, but it feels so damn unnatural, and definitely breaks my immersion. At least with the old school ones you read it all...

Damn you guys for bringing up DC, so much nostalgia on that platform for me. To some degree the VMU was ahead of its time, and I think it shows because they did not design it in a way that was entirely practical IMO. The device wasn't useful while playing the game, only a cute distraction...

3 case fans, 1 cpu fan on mobo. 2 additional case fans headers built-in to the case. Hmm, actually hadn't thought about that before. For push/pull configuration, should I have a splitter from my CPU fan connection onto both CPU fans?

Hmm, I may experiment with that. I'll need a PWM splitter or a fan control to support 2 additional fans though.

With only 2 side panel fans, wouldn't the unused mesh area affect airflow?

Araxie, unfortunately I DO have a referenced GTX 670, as I bought it before I knew the difference between referenced vs non-referenced GPUs. I know this will increase the temps in my case, but I'm not really interested in spending the $$$ to upgrade just yet. Thanks for the information about...

To some degree, I know it will. I have some pretty piss poor fans installed at the moment and can barely feel the air flow on the exhaust. If you have any tips besides using a different thermal paste or a different CPU cooler, I'd be all ears :)

EQNext has a lot of potential in my opinion. I've tinkered around a bit on landmark, and it's insane what people can create and how great it looks. If their voxel system is up to par with what they've described and shown in demo videos, it could lead to a great sandbox game! With that said...

Oh, good catch Danny - would have been embarassing buying the wrong type. I think I will do two sticks of that RAM, as long as what bl4z3 mentioned is not an issue. I don't mind going with liquid cooling in the future, as it seems like a fun thing to do and will not affect my immediate budget.
