you indeed can not change brightness when you enable color unifomity. did you get a replacement? what settings are people using on their monitor? uniformity compensation on or off? standard/custom color?

the color uniformity compensation works really well. too bad it gets rid of the good whites though.

anyone else having a bit of color difference when viewing a full white page? my right side of the monitor is more white then the left side. becomes a bit yellow ish even tho i find my blb acceptable

I would suggest to use your first 1 yes. remember dell has a 3 year premium panel warranty. use this 1 for like 6 months and then call dell to say that your monitor startedto get more BLB. they will stil sent you a replacement and it might be a new revision with better QC

the monitor might a yellow ish tint. tbh you only recognise this really when your on a complete white background. i have 3 of them in surround always use 3 of the same cables yes it DOES matter

mine do not have ANY BLB. BUT. when i check with my galaxy s3 camera (bad idea anyway) it shows a small yellow light on 1 of my monitors. but when i look through my eyes (im very sensitive for BLB) it is just black.

some people were wondering about the surround capability. well i ahve this setup so here are a few pictures. the bezels are not overlapped they are next to eachother.

there is a slight yellowish tint. but you can work around this with some calibration. it almost removed it al going for 100 contrast for me so.
