I'm currently working on my CCIE (took 2nd lab attempt yesterday). More than happy to help any others out with CCNA/NP/IE stuff. Would be fun to put together a study group.
As far as CCNP stuff I would look into the following. This over-board for the CCNP but really get into the routing...
Nope not a troll. I guess I'm biased. I've worked a lot in networking over the years and just studied a lot. I work at "said" vendor now and working on CCIE
Honestly I'd start with CCNA. You can break it up into two different exams and the first one is a basically equal to Network+. But like it was said before if you don't have a passion for it, you're in the wrong business.
Yeah been a member for a long time. My job pays for the first three attempts for the lab, and there are a few other perks as well. Plus well its kind of expected to get a CCIE where I work. :)
Slow days?
Well in less than 90 days I've gotten:
A+, Network+, and Server+....I am working on and will take Security+ already...These are all mute points since I got my CCNA in May 2008.
Go to: http://www.restaurant.com/
Get, for example, a $25 gift card to a restaurant you want for $10.
Before you check out, put in the coupon code called TREATS, and get the $25 gift card for $2.
You save 80%. I have already used two of them, and they work great.
I think this expires today...
After posting leaked photos of upcoming Best Buy, Kmart, and other circulars, the gaming blog now has a GameStop employee's cell-phone snapshots of shelf art and an internal memo announcing that the Xbox 360 Pro (aka the Premium) would drop to $299.99 on Sunday, July 13. Not coincidentally, E3...
Well I am not sure if unplugging it and plugging it back is the problem. I can try that at my house first. By connecting to make it work. Unplug the Cat5 from the 360, turn it off and unplug it and try to use the stuff.
He has internet access but its dial-up, only thing he can get. Also he...
The date/time thing has always reset after he unplugs it from the wall. The Xbox Live content he just got probably a few weeks ago. This was really the first he was able to get it connected to Xbox live. But I think its always been a problem.
A friend of mine comes to my house to use my high-speed internet to download stuff to his Xbox 360. When he goes off-line at home he cannot access them. I just found out that his date/time goes back to 11/22/2005 7am. If he turns it off and back on, without unplugged it the date/time are fine...
My think about pc vs console is that with a console your friends don't have to have the game/pc to play the game with you. Playing online is a lot cheaper ($50/yr) compared to some that are $15/mo.
So if I am not in a big rush, should I wait no E3 and see what happens? I've heard rumors about price drop, smaller form factor, newer chipset/motherboards, etc.
I really want a 360. I know its long over due, but I am just curious if I should wait for the next console. I don't want to have it 2 yrs or something and something else comes out. Exactly what happened since I bought the original xbox in 2002/2003
I'd have to train someone to change the backup (external hard-drives probably) at the other location. I am the ONLY IT person. These people barely know how to wipe their nose let alone turn on a computer. Be a pain to administer.
No I didn't expect it to be free. I guess we would need
2 DC's
2 license for Exchange
Could they still share calendars?
I know we won't do this now because of the cost of another DC. Unless I let the FileServer down there running 2003 be the DC for them. But they need to be on the same Domain...
