when u turn on dp 1.2 the monitor outputs 10bit. again, if you do not have a nvidia quadro, which costs around 6500 dollars you will have this flickering. just use dpe quality because your graphics card doesnt support 10bit. i have a titan black and this card also doesnt support 10bit. if you...
Since I game pretty heavily on the monitor, it's not a huge issue for me but it is one of those things that just nags at the back of my mind, making me regret giving AMD another chance. Not too much longer until I can swap it out with an 880, at least.
This problem isn't AMD exclusive i...
Swift is matte unfortunately. I hate matte. Not even semi-glossy.
Quote from TFT central review
"Screen Coating
The screen coating on the PG278Q is a medium anti-glare (AG) offering. It isn't a semi-glossy coating, and isn't as light as some modern IPS type panels either. It's in keeping with...
Give it a rest people. Despite it's idiotic problems you people keep buying this piece of garbage. Poor quality and we should tell EIZO about it. I gave up after my second replacement.
Yeah me too but i'm really afraid of the bleed and glow this expensive monitor might have. Bleed and glow was quite common in the 29'' series. Plus, 5ms gtg isn't that good. Oh and we don't know of it's input lag as well.
ROG SWIFT seems a safer bet and i wouldn't mind take a look at Samsung's...

Bought mine from amazon.de (Germany) with "Made in Japan" label on it's back. Doesn't matter though 'cause it restarts randomly 2-3 times a day only in turbo mode. Thing is i got a bleed free/0 dead pixel panel.
DAMN you EIZO WTF! what now? If i send it back i might get a new one with the same...
After experimenting a liitle here's my findings
1.For those who prefer hdmi low (after the patch) set gamma to level 1
2.For those who prefer hdmi normal (after the patch) set gamma to level 3
Neither option will give you crushed blacks. Option 1 looks best i believe though.
Cheers
Get a VA trust me. VA's won't give you backlight Bleed or dead pixels and you get great response times and Fantastic black levels as a bonus . I know because i already own 4 of them.
Benq GW2460HM or Samsung S24C750P. I have the Samsung. Get the Samsung if you can
This is a copy/paste answer PcMonitors sent me from someone with a similar question
http://pcmonitors.info/forum/topic/s27c750p-or-gw2760hs
I'll probably get the samsung.
Thank you. All of you.
Agreed. Thing is i can't go anything but VA. I just can't stand IPS/TN and unfortunately S27C750P and GW2760HS are the only VA semi-glossy (fan of glossy) panels available. 24'' versions are pure grainy matte.
Nice job there!!
For some reason the makers of VA tech can't produce a 2560x1440 panel. And the first one after so many years comes with a 1000:1 instead of 3000:1 or 5000:1
As for the black crush please take a look here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=by1wAlyNsyA at 10:53
That worries me the...
Both monitors are the best VA tech has to offer. From what i can tell both have their plus and minuses. I value black depth more than anything -S27C750P- but "black crush" is less evident on GW2760HS "as it makes the strong contrast performance even more meaningful". Then again S27C750P handles...
I live in Europe but i can sell worldwide no problem. Bought 2 Titans from amazon.de
There's nothing wrong with them. I've been looking for a Perfect 27'' PC monitor but everything out there sucks. I ended up playing on my Panny plasma. TV for gaming from now on PERIOD. But having 2 Titans for...
I don't think it is a matter of resourses as stated above. I mean they're not having any problems with the rest their monitors right? Just with GW2760HS.
"buying frenzy" eh? HOW MUCH TIME DO THEY NEED? WANT? christ!!!
As for the Samsung option i would happily go for the S27C770 model instead...
