    Noob Wifi extender question

Hmm - I like this, my understanding is this would essentially make it seem like it's just 1 network in the house? How involved is this to setup? I am fairly weak when it comes to networking setup..... Out of curiosity, is there an alternate option that would use my existing router? It is a...

    HTPC & Server?

I am very new to RAID and servers in general, based on my knowledge I think I will just go with a RAID 1 with 2 sets of 2 drives. I will most likely have a couple extra drives that I would like hooked up as well. So total would max out at 6. Edit: It also looks like it may be important...

PC getting power from hdmi switch?

It is 100% coming from the HDMI cable via the cable box, as I unplugged everything else. The HDMI switch does not actually have any power adapter. So the power is running through the video card, into the motherboard, and to the fans....

Hi guys I have an hdmi switch with a cable box and PC hooked up to the inputs. The cable box is always on (dvr) and it is powering lights on my fans, and even slightly rotating some fans on the PC. The hdmi is plugged into my vid card. Do I have any options here besides unplugging the PCs...

    Bought a router - RT-N66U - How should I use this thing?

Minimal research, I had an idea... As for the AC, I saw that there, however I don't think I would really use those speeds at this point... and not sure how I feel about jumping in on that early... Hopefully I don't regret saying that anytime soon.

    NES case build - Mini-ITX

I finished this awhile back and really should have put an update on here... picture quality is poor, my bad. I also don't have pictures of everything but this should still give you a good idea of the build. 1. Power/Reset/LED motherboard lead cables recycled from an old case. 2. Soldered...
