I went from 60hz to 75hz on a old asus vw195n. I will try it on my new asus pb278q once i recieve it. I hope it will work couse 75hz looks so much better. Thanks for the tip!

Well its not optimal for gaming becouse its a 16:10 screen. Other then that it will give you no issues. Afaik you can play games on 16:9 but you will get black borders on the top and bottom. The vertical 1200 pixels will give you some more workspace wich is always nice. So you should ask...

I wouldnt go from 1440p to 1080p couse the difference will be huge. Ones your used to better technology its hard to go back. I could stick with a 27inch 1080p monitor but thats only becouse i never worked with 1440p. If you dont have the money to go for a 1440p monitor then ill just stick with...
