I bought an Infortrend ENP800 PRO SOHO NAS with 8 3TB WD Red drives running ZFS.
The performance flat out sucks on it, I'm talking 600 IOPS and 18 MB/s if I'm lucky over direct gig-E. I'd like to build a ESXi server that can run a ZFS flavor and have some juice left over for a small network...
Does anyone have any guidance on how much I should sell a Heatkiller GTX 670 Water block for? It was used less than a month then upgraded to a GTX 680.

I recently got a USB to DVI video adapter device from microcenter. It seems like anything I do (browsing web, etc) will spike cpu to near 100% CPU usage.
Does anyone know if that is typical nature for such devices?
Are there any devices that will use less CPU usage?

Does anyone know if the capacitors in this in any way act like the super caps in SSD's? i.e. if i had a zfs nas and wanted to use ssd's for zil. it is recommended to get ssd's that have super caps in them...
Im debating on building a mini itx system for a nas. does anyone know if there are any other options than the TWO that newegg have for amd processors?
Im going to have a pci e raid card so sata ports dont matter. ideally i would use a low wattage amd athlon series processor.
