it's a refurb, but I thought it was a pretty sweat deal.
I actually made a second one not too long ago as well and it wouldn't let me use it until I verified it with a code they texted to my phone. Perhaps it was because my information was similar to the first account?
It doesn't seem that low to me. Don't they have safeguards for that kind of crap now? Like you have to enter a phone number and receive a text to verify new accounts?
If cheap is what you're after, I'm pretty sure this Intel S5000PSL 2U Server would do everything you mentioned, and for cheaper than what you expected.
I realize it's listed with only 8 GB of RAM, but I'm pretty sure you can customize that should you choose to order from that particular website.
A buddy of mine has a few servers stored in a data center and wanted a better way to monitor them, so he bought an APC NetBotz 500 Monitoring Device.
I'm not looking to buy one of these at all, but his purchase made me really curious to see if anyone has utilized one of these/if it's actually...

According to their FB page, if you enter CLOUD200 when you checkout you get $200 off their listing price of $1399 :D

definitely wouldn't actually type anything out on that.. it would be cool if they could somehow allow you to type numbers into it from your keyboard though.
What you're talking about isn't quite an exact science. Also, game developers definitely listen to the fans, but half the time fans don't really know what they want. Another thing is that you say fans definitely want all these things, do you have a link to a survey or something..? Because...
With basic needs like those, you can pretty much use any laptop. I would recommend just checking out the dell outlet and seeing what works for you/what you like.
Agreed with AQ_OC. At the very least the ant situation sounds like a mere coincidence, I think your hard drive just happened to die soon after the ant incident.
If what you're trying to do is manage all social media platforms from one place, you could just use hootsuite. But perhaps I am misunderstanding your intentions.
In my experience, although it wasn't with a monitor, Amazon will make you pay return shipping unless the monitor is broken in half or something. That being said, I would doubt you would run into too many issues ordering from Amazon. I think it's worth buying from them.
I posted a somewhat similar thread not too long ago, long story short I was told to go with a refurb laptop or check out the dell outlet. Both were solid recommendations!
