Ok so I've been reading alot of overclocking guides on the web and I keep hearing this 1:1 ram cpu ratio thing come up..
Here is the computer I'm learning overclocking on:
Intel C2Q Q9550 2.8ghz.
Corsair DDR2 800ghz Ram
other stuff
Now what confuses me is the ram frequency and FSB frequency...
How good would cold water coming out of my fridge and going into my loop be?
Would you describe the improvement to be minimal, worth doing, or great?
Also I know water condensation will be a problem... Does anybody have any ideas besides insulating the motherboard?
Basically the title ^.
Is there a style of cooling that cools better than water cooling yet is practical?
Even experimental ideas?
ps: not phase change...
