Hey folks--don't know if you guys have tried Blacklight Retribution, but it's a super-fun FPS that I recently started playing. It's microtransaction funded but still totally playable without buying anything--I'm awful at this type of game but am still getting my Counterstrike fix in Blacklight...

This is pretty much my exact build, obviously--and I'll tell you, with the GPU I've got, I can play everything at highest settings except maybe games like BF3. It's a great card for the money and I love having my Steam library on the TV. It's actually making me consider getting rid of my 360...
Well, I definitely want to keep the full-size ATX board, as I bought it specifically for this build. So I'm looking for a nice ATX case that will sit horizontally and also support the 7870.
Hi all, just thought I'd post here about my newest HTPC/Steambox build. I'm still looking for a few parts--will mention those here.

Haven't checked in on this thread in a while--but am happy to report that I haven't purchased anything from Newegg in many months. Amazon has gotten all of my business and everything has gone swimmingly.
I'm both sad and glad that this thread is still going strong--sad that people are still getting screwed but glad that those looking for answers are able to find others who have been put through the ringer by Newegg. Hopefully someone at Newegg is at least hearing rumblings of this shady practice.
Well, we can't get away with sitting at each other's desks watching movies and laughing, so it would be easier to watch them simultaneously while chatting on Instant Messenger with the ability for each person to pause if something comes up.
And no, it's not a "she", but we're also not...
Honestly surprised more people aren't suggesting RIFT. It's a great game with frequent updates and a really smooth learning curve for new players--plus they've implemented a mentor system that allows higher level players to "level-down" to play with lower level folks, so the lower zones are...

Indeed, I used them for years without an issue until this popped up. I've since switched exclusively to Amazon.com and feel like I'm back on track again as far as getting the service and ease of return that I expect.
Hell of a deal, but I still need to finish DA2 before I play through this again. I'll probably buy it just because I lost the discs from the first time I bought it.
Hiya folks--anyone know of a way to watch a movie simultaneously on two different computers? The obvious way would be to call someone and say "3, 2, 1 GO" but we're looking for pause controls and all that jazz.
Basically, my coworker and I want to be able to sit at our desks with headphones...
I would think humidity would affect it much more quickly than temperature due to moisture inside the casing--but I have no idea how someone could quantify this. Kind of a weird question, honestly. :P
FYI, this thread is now showing up on Page 1 Google searches for "Newegg RMA Motherboard", so maybe more folks will be able to find some support as Newegg continues this shady practice.
For those dealing with this same situation, posting an honest, detailed account of your experience on...
