if its the same speed I think it's mostly the same. the auto might just make the voltages higher so it ensures stability, so if you manually lower those you may lower temperatures, but I'm not sure

the plastic is high quality. same stuff as the plastic on the Cosmos II. I own the switch, and can tell you it's high quality, solid stuff. I'm betting I can nearly knock out my brother if I hit him in the head with the top vent part

I'm not really saying I'd use all of the features, but I like the look better, and IMO, it looks higher quality. I also like E-ATX board for some reason, as well as the extra PCI-e slots just in case. At this point, it looks like the ASRock Z77 Extreme9 is my board unless Asus pulls an extreme...
