some shots from my log:
this is one of my favorite shots -- the case lights COMPLETELY off and only the res. lights on:
This is the mod I made to my case: I cut the stupidly placed front fan bracket, which allowed me to mount my front 240mm rad. AND have a 90 degree...
Alright everyone, I have a ton of pics for you guys tonight :thumb: :D
Enjoy, and as always, questions, comments, concerns are ALWAYS welcome!
Sorry for the wait also :(
Always gotta have the dog in the build log :D
Now on to the actual PC :thumb:
this is one of my favorite...
if its the same speed I think it's mostly the same. the auto might just make the voltages higher so it ensures stability, so if you manually lower those you may lower temperatures, but I'm not sure
MOAR PICS!!!!
I have all of my gear (new MB included) installed into the system as a test fit. I still need to run the tubing again, since I changed the loop design, but I have some pics of what you can expect :thumb:
I got myself red socket screws to match the MB. A little unnecessary...
Alright everyone. I am now home since friday and am waiting on a few items so I can get this show on the road. I need a couple more angled fittings and an SLI connector, and a couple of fans. Good to go from there.
ALSO, I tried my hand at sleeving yesterday. I know its only SATA cables, but...
what do you all think of my new loop design?
The brown are my rad fans (I have push pull on the top one). I will be selling my 140mm and 120mm (PM me if you want ) and getting one of these (if anyone has unused stop plugs that are unused and they want to donate 4 of them )...
the plastic is high quality. same stuff as the plastic on the Cosmos II.
I own the switch, and can tell you it's high quality, solid stuff. I'm betting I can nearly knock out my brother if I hit him in the head with the top vent part
I just got myself a bunch of angles, I think i may remove the 120 altogether, since I dont like how crowded the loop is, nor do i like that it forces me to put a fan in pull on the outside of the case. I think I'm going to try and route some tubing behind my MB tray, and move the res to the...

Ok, I've got some new pics for you all today. I have some of the parts I'll be using, as well as the finished product of me moving my old stuff into this case (ignore all the cables, I don't care about that right now. Also, as a treat, I'll be linking a video of my LEDs later and I'll put some...
Alright everyone, it has begun. First up I'll show you all some pics of my old rig (some of which I'll be selling here and on EVGA forums), followed by the obligatory pile (or mountain) of goodies I got for this build. Some of these boxes havent even been opened yet so I'm not sure exactly...
Hey everyone!
This is my first time doing a build log and also my first time watercooling. I got the white Switch 810 as an upgrade from my HAF 932 Advanced, and while I'm using a few parts from my old build, like a few hard drives, this will pretty much be a brand new build. This will be my...
also, you have to keep in mind that the sniper is an XL-ATX boards, and probably wont fit in a mid tower unless its a larger mid tower. The gene is a great value, and they dont remove anything except ports...it has extreme OC'ing, great design and solid build. also, with the newer...
I'm not really saying I'd use all of the features, but I like the look better, and IMO, it looks higher quality. I also like E-ATX board for some reason, as well as the extra PCI-e slots just in case. At this point, it looks like the ASRock Z77 Extreme9 is my board unless Asus pulls an extreme...
where did they say they weren't planning on an Extreme version? that's what I'm waiting for! if they arent releasing one, I'll just go with the MIVE or another Z77 board with the specs I need. I don't want the formula, I want me some EXTREME
